“And I have to do this,” I said.

I finished my glass of whiskey and I stood up.

I smirked.

Riff lifted his left eyebrow. “Fi?”

I put my right pointer finger to my lips for a second.

Then I reached for my own hips and slipped my fingers into my pants.

I bent forward a little, smiling, as I took my pants off.

“What the hell…”

“We’re going to keep talking about this, Griffin,” I purred. “We’re going to do it my way though.”

“You think you’re going to seduce me into letting you live with me?” Riff asked.

I inched my shirt up a little, showing off pink panties.

I turned and wiggled my hips.

“The way I see it, Riff, is that it can and will work,” I said. “We know the rules. We don’t have to worry about a thing.”

“Plenty to worry about,” he said.

I dropped my shirt and spun around. “Fine. Get the obvious off the table. You’re worried about my brother.”

“Worried? Not so much. I’m not afraid of Remi. I just…”

“I get it. The whole thing is intense. But I’m not going to be running around town with a sign that says I’m here.”

“What does that even mean?”

I laughed. “I don’t know. These kinds of conversations aren’t my thing. So…”

I grabbed the bottom of my shirt and lifted it up over my head.

I threw my shirt at Riff, covering his face.

He sat there for a few seconds.

Then his left hand pulled my shirt away.

I now stood there in my bra and panties.

“You can’t tell me this isn’t fun,” I said. “A woman slowly stripping in front of you. Right?”

“It’s sexy as hell, Fi,” Riff said. He sipped his drink, put it down, and stood up. “Very sexy.”

“And?” I whispered.

Riff handed me my shirt back. “Put your clothes on.”

He turned and made one step before I threw my shirt to the floor and jumped at him.

I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and chest.
