Anna texted me again.
“I’m just wondering if you have hookups in other states,” Rome said.
“What?”

I shook my head. “You should worry more about hockey than sex.”

“Rome!” Sebastian called out. “Ass in the seat. We have to takeoff.”
Rome turned.
I looked at my phone.
Stuck with all the fancy people. Corporate talk.

Give me the gossip. Especially if my name comes up. Need to know if I should start saving money or not, you know? If I’m going to get axed from the team.
Our private jet began to taxi.
Anna was typing back to me.

Once again I wondered how in the hell a man wouldn’t get hard for Anna?
I looked out the window and felt the pressure against my chest as we started to pick up speed.
I watched as the ground lowered down.
Just like that we were in the air.

“How about a drink?” Rome called out. “I’m getting restless here!”
“It’s been thirty seconds in the air, man,” Henry said. “Relax a little.”
“Boo!” Rome yelled. “I want a drink!”
Anna texted me again.
Guess I’ll talk to you later. Ellen is calling my name. This should be fun. Please stop getting into trouble. I’m not sure I like talking to this woman.
