An alarm rings in Vulcan's house. And more of his men began to pour out of the house. My crew open fire on them, sending them scampering all around. Vulcan himself looks at us for a moment through an open window, and I fire in his direction right away. The bullet shatters the glass but fails to hit Vulcan. He ducks and runs away. Fucking coward!
Gunshots fill the ear, but my men don't back down. We keep pushing forward as we shoot, forcing Vulcan's guys onto the back foot. Soon we begin to hear the sirens from far away, I hurry to the living room, looking left and right to avoid getting shot unexpectedly. It's deserted now, chairs overturned and tables broken. One of the men lay on the floor, wincing and clutching his bleeding arm.
I cross over his body and hurry down the hallway. Two naked girls cower in the corner of the first room I look into.
“Please, don’t kill us.”
“Did you see any girl? Thick auburn hair and curvy.”
The girls exchange glances.
“Did you see her?”
One of them, a slim blonde, nods.
“Where’s she?”
“They took her.”
“Who took her? Where?”
“Vulcan. Took her in his car. I don’t know where they are headed.” I shut the door and turn around to see Frank behind me.
“He got away with her in his car. We have to go after him.”
“Sure, can’t let him get away.”
We hurry down the hallway and open the backyard door. There are skid marks on the grassy floor. Vulcan took to his heels already.
“Call Jerry to drive the car here.”
Frank nods and gets on the call right away. I slip the pistol under my belt and wait for Jerry to drive the car around the house. The sirens are closer and it’s only a matter of time before the cops show up here to start questioning everyone around. My business is to hunt Vulcan down and get my woman from him.
Jerry drives the car to a stop in the backyard and steps out. I take over the wheels and drive straight to a fence, knocking it down and getting on the road as quickly as possible. Frank doesn't say a word. He knows how badly I want Aurora back.
Wherever Vulcan goes, I’ll hunt him down and make him pay for working Aurora into his beef with Jeff. He has to suffer for his actions.

AURORA
I couldn't bearto leave Jeff in the dark because I felt he'd be worried sick. Of course, he's irresponsible, but he's still my father. I had that in mind as I dressed up this morning and drove to his house. Now, I've been kidnapped for the second time. This feels like one bad dream, but unfortunately, it's the sad reality of my life.
I'm currently in the dark under the car's trunk, trying to free my hands from the tape securing them together. I want to scream, but I keep my mouth shut. It's pointless. The last time I tried it, my lungs had only suffered without much effect.
The only difference was that Tristano rescued me. I don't see myself becoming that fortunate today. There will be no Tristano or any other savior, so I have to think of something. A plausible way out.
When I got home this morning, I met Jeff drunk and depressed. His eyes lightened up when he saw me. According to him, he got almost all the money and even pleaded with them to accept it.
The loan sharks refused and promised to find me. I had to console him because his condition pulled at my heartstrings.
I couldn't bear to see him cry. I'd be soulless to watch him weep and offer no emotional support.
While consoling him, those mother fuckers appear and kidnap the two of us. Jeff is locked in a separate car, and I'm right here in the dark, under a trunk.
Now, it is clear these people are more interested in hurting us than accepting their money. Otherwise, they wouldn't have kidnapped Jeff. My question is, who will pay off the debt now that Jeff has been captured?
My gut feeling tells me this scuffle isn't between Jeff and Vulcan anymore. It's now between Vulcan and Tristano. Vulcan is trying to prove a point to Tristano by kidnapping me again. He wasn't successful with the last kidnap only because Tristano rescued me. Somehow, I wish that will happen again. But it's only a pipedream. Tristano is done with me.
