Page 17 of Jude's Story

Our girls are now five. Yes, we had two girls, who immediately had their daddy wrapped around their fingers. It was the sweetest thing ever, and I didn’t argue when he wanted to name them with E names since both Emma and I had E names. Little Elsee and Everlee were born completely healthy at thirty-seven weeks, and after just a few days with six babies one and under, we decided to take our time and wait to have more no matter how much Jude loved my body pregnant. He wasn’t too upset when I couldn’t lose all the baby weight, leaving my boobs, butt, and belly bigger than when we met. He’s teased me over the years that it worked out that way so he wouldn’t rush me to have more.

Now, the girls will be starting school this fall and it’s the perfect time to add another baby to our family. I know Jude will be thrilled, not to mention Momma Annie. She keeps hinting to us that we should have at least one more, but I think that’s mostly because she’s missing the little baby stage now that Johnnie and Carly’s little Cammie is walking.

We never said we wouldn’t have more, it simply never seemed to be the right time until now.

Sawyer’s hearing declined further when he was about sixteen months old, and we had him in speech classes as soon as he started talking, along with taking family sign language classes in case the hearing loss didn’t stop. He’s completely deaf in one ear, while he still has about sixty percent in the other. With hearing aids, he thankfully didn’t have any issues with school this past year. He was simply too smart to not send. He’s our little reader, already measuring two grade levels ahead of River and Tucker, who are already a grade ahead of the rest of their class.

After much debate and tears from Emma when we had to explain that the twins weren’t old enough to start yet, we chose not to enroll her until she could go with Elsee and Everlee. Honestly, if we hadn’t, I think we would have faced mutiny in our house, which was already crazy enough.

Much to the shock of everyone, especially Jennie, Emma wasn’t at all jealous of the twins being girls, not even when they were born on the quadruplet’s first birthday. So yes, our house is entirely chaotic celebrating six birthdays at once.

Despite being a year older, Emma’s pretty much the same size as the twins—likely from Jude’s genes putting them in the eightieth percentile for height for their age, versus Emma’s fortieth. It’s almost as though we have two sets of triplets rather than quadruplets and twins with the way they all behave. Emma adores them though and hates to do anything without them. She’s certainly a handful but we adore her, so much that Jude’s trying to convince me to do what she wants and change her first name officially to Emmalee to match the twins. She tells everyone she’s Emmalee already when they ask the girls their names.

I’ve learnt to love every one of the Cartwrights, even Jennie, because while she didn’t think how the news might affect me, she was thinking of us in the end. And that is what makes this family so amazing. The Cartwrights want everyone to be safe and happy, but mostly loved, and that is something I desperately needed.

No one ever mentions that the quadruplets aren’t actually mine biologically or that they aren’t Cartwrights by blood. They’re our babies and Cartwrights by adoption. One day, we’ll tell them the truth, tell them whatever they want to know about their biological father, who no longer lives in town.

We were able to establish paternity for not only the quadruplets and the other five women, but six other kids as well, and the town practically shoved him out of it. After getting all of the women what their children deserved—financial support from the man that claimed to want each and every one of those babies when the women told him they were pregnant. We declined the money, let it be distributed to the others, and after putting the back amounts into a trust for Henry, Victoria declined anything else when she married Doug.

They’re now included in family events, part of the Cartwright family, and Henry enjoys having other kids to play with. He’s now twelve and doesn’t remember a time he wasn’t part of this amazing family that took me in, then gave me the world by bringing Jude back to me.

Then turned the tables on the apartment manager that tried to evict me and the babies. It didn’t take any time for them to offer up a settlement to keep the story out of the paper, but when we found out they were trying to do the same thing to a single mom of three whose husband walked out on her, the Cartwrights said hell no.

Within days the entire apartment complex became part of the company, and after a couple years, the family chose to turn it into low-income housing for families. One entire building is set up for new and single moms that can’t afford rent and day care and all the things that go into raising babies. The company ensures it’s maintained, and the grounds were updated with a gorgeous playground for all the kids that live there to enjoy. We have a couple events to bring in donations for it each year, and they’re the only events that has every Cartwright in attendance at the same time. We love it though because Jasmine is sure to do something fabulous for it, and we’re able to show everyone just how much this family loves and supports one another.

That’s why I know what I’m going to do now.

It takes two days, but I manage to get what I need easily, and head to Jude’s office, smiling when his assistant waves me on in while she’s on the phone. The place is quieter than it used to be as employees have taken advantage of their hybrid remote options. Unless it’s a job that can only be done in the office, every employee that works a ‘desk’ type job, can work from home at least two days a week.

Which works well for what I have in store for my husband.

I adjust the skirt as I slip over to his door, letting it show off just a hint more leg and the way Jude’s eyes gloss over seeing me move towards him, puts a grin on my lips.

“My little kitten’s hungry, isn’t she?” he teases, pulling me onto his lap and I bite my bottom lip, trying to hold the moan in. “Where are the kids?”

“At Momma’s. Jaime and Jillian are there with her on top of Jackie and Maddie and Carly,” I answer, unable to stop the moan that hits when he drags me across his hard length, sending my clit dancing even through the layers we’re still wearing.

“And you weren’t worried they’d know you were on your way to take my dick like a good girl?” he asks, his lips trailing down the side of my neck, making me shiver with more need.

“You don’t think they do it when we have family days at Momma’s house?” I retort, and he releases my skin, glaring up at me with a groan.

“You know not to talk about my sisters and sisters-in-law and sex and in the same breath, baby girl.”

“I know daddy, but I wanted to make sure that you knew something before you show me just how good I am,” I tease, “and I can’t do that with you sucking on my neck.”

“Alright, what should I know so I can bury myself inside you and live there for the next two hours?” he grunts as I reach for my bag and pull out the paperwork.

The smile that crosses his face seeing Emma’s new birth certificate that has her name listed as Emmalee, has my panties melting off. It’s nothing when I keep him from kissing me, stopping his grumbling, as I dig out the pregnancy test. “There’s one more thing, daddy.”

“Hurry up, I can feel how soaked you are baby girl, and you know I can’t resist your soaked pussy bouncing on my hard dick.”

“I know, it’s how we ended up with round seven coming,” I state, showing him the screen of the test, his jaw dropping taking it in. “So, how good am I now, daddy?”

“So-fucking good, baby girl, shit,” he groans, lifting me onto his desk, his face lowering to my stomach. “You’ve no fucking clue how long I’ve wanted you nice and round with my baby again, kitten. Every time things seemed to settle, something else popped up though, and I thought we’d never find us with another one.”

“I know. That’s why I threw out my pills last month and just said the hell with trying to plan it. Look how great things turned out with the twins and they definitely weren’t planned,” I muse, laughing when he looks offended. “They were wanted, not planned.”

“I’ll give you that, but only after you give me your mouth.”
