Sariah looked toward Geero. “He’s the excuse?”

Geero was talking to Amadine, and Ondine’s sister was laughing softly. They both looked at Ondine and grinned.

Ondine sighed. “They are ganging up against me.”

“You don’t seem upset about it.”

“They are having fun with it, and I can always head into the armour if they are annoying.”

Sariah laughed. “I have missed you.”

“I have missed you, too. Your check-ins were not enough.”

“Are you ready for the baby?”

“Oh. No. We have to get started, but I am sure Amadine can order most of what we need. Formula will be a thing.”

Sariah smiled. “Amadine has a list?”

Yalida wandered over with a grin. “I am an auntie, as well, and Clavia. This kid is going to be surrounded by estrogen.”

Hera came over after leaving her twins with their father. “I am on the list as well. New little omegas need a lot of protecting.”

Ondine smiled. “She will be protected.”

Hera nodded. “But you need to make a living, and Titan can’t just retire. It’s too useful and popular.”

“Popular?”

Yalida laughed. “People love you. Any disaster survivors say that they saw Titan arriving and felt like they would get help.”

Ondine blushed. “It isn’t like I want to stop doing it, but I know what a difference a supportive parent would have been for me. I am going to be there for this baby, or I am going to burn the world trying. Invest in sunscreen.”

Yalida blinked, and Sariah laughed. Hera and Clavia just looked surprised.

Yalida laughed, and she and Sariah went to get snacks. The teens were trying to get Geero into dancing. Ondine sat next to Amadine, and they leaned their heads together.

“This is a good night.”

Amadine sighed. “It is. You are feeling good?”

“Feeling weird. My hormones are back. I had forgotten what it felt like to feel... this.” She chuckled. “And I riot when he gets close.”

“That’s good?”

“Probably. It sounds like something that is going to make a lot of noise.”

Amadine blushed. “Right. I shouldn’t be surprised. Maybe I will see if I can stay at the big house tonight.”

Ondine blinked. “We aren’t...”
