Ondine laughed. “Yes, but if you are planning on napping, I am not going to be on the bottom.”

“Deal.” He slid into her, opened a hand between her and the bed, then rolled.

She was plastered on top of him, and he looked sleepy, but he was smiling.

“I am gonna get cold.”

He cocked his head and flipped the top layers of bedding over her. “Better?”

“Yes, actually.”

He wrapped his arms around her and leaned to kiss her cheek. “Good.”

She lay her head on his chest and sighed. “Interesting first date.”

“Technically, second.”

“Right. Last night. That was just cuddling.”

“It was the most fun I have had in bed until tonight.”

She smiled and pressed up against him while his length thickened inside her.

She was perfectly comfortable as he whispered plans for the future that she didn’t disagree with, and then he mentioned something she hadn’t considered.

“If you want to continue on the defender team, I can be a stay-at-home dad.”

She chuckled. “We will look into it after I get the house renovated.”

“You are going to do that on your own?”

“You can help, but matter manipulation is my speciality.”

Geero stroked her back. “I am very lucky that your sister booked me. If she hadn’t, I would never have fallen into this part of my life.”

“Well, what sold it was your defense of the mountain house. After that, I knew that there could be something between us. I never expected it to be a layer of sweat.”

He inhaled, and she rose before settling when he exhaled. “I am committing this scent to memory.”

“Great. Can I get some rest now?”

He chuckled. “You rest. I will make lists of things to outfit your new life as a mom.”

“Keep it practical. I have to do construction, and my bodysuits aren’t really suited for it.”

“Of course. Amadine and I will pick everything that you need.”

She chuckled and fell asleep with images of his yeti form wearing an apron and shopping with Amadine while Ondine brought up the rear with a little girl in her arms. It was a nice image.

In the morning, they slowly moved with each other until she moaned and shuddered and he gasped and grunted. The bite wasn’t repeated.

A shower was definitely needed, and after they called a halt to the fun, they dried off, got dressed, and headed downstairs to make breakfast.

Amadine knocked on the door and smiled in relief. “So, how many people are you willing to feed, sis?”

“How many are there?”

“Aim for a dozen. Sariah called her sibling last night, and she’s going to be here shortly. I didn’t know she had a sister. Did you?”
