I look up at him and his brothers as pain stabs my chest.

“What’s wrong, Rory?” Oliver asks, suddenly looking worried. “Why do you look like that? Did Simon say something wrong?”

I shake my head as a wave of emotions crashes over me. “It’s just...I don’t understand why you’d want a used and broken omega like me,” I say, my voice cracking.

“They hurt you,” Seth says in a grim tone. “We understand how you feel. You may feel broken right now but you won’t always feel this way. Give yourself a chance, Rory. One day, youwillheal. One day, the past will feel like a bad dream. You will open your eyes and realize that it’s a new day. The shadows would be gone and you’ll know you’re no longer the scared woman you’d once been.”

Moving closer, Oliver swipes a finger over my cheek, gently brushing away the tears. “You will always find us beside you, cheering you on.”

“You’d be so much happier with an untainted omega,” I say, gazing up at them.

I’ve been a selfish bitch most of my life. Only after Jake snatched me away from my friends and family, I understood what real love is.

Seth, Oliver, and Simon are too good for me. They deserve an omega who hasn’t been touched by countless strange men. They deserve someone they can truly claim astheirs.

“You shouldn’t waste your time on me,” I say as the broken pieces of my heart throb painfully. “You deserve someone so much better than me.”

Sorrow flickers in their eyes.

“Don’t say that, Rory,” Oliver says with a hint of a whine in his voice. “We wantyou. Don’t worry about us at all. Take all the time you need to heal. We’ll wait for you until you’re ready to accept us.”

“That’s right,” Seth agrees. “Let us help you, Rory. We don’t want to scare you away by coming on too strong, but we’ve already chosen you. That’s the truth.”

“I know you need more time to accept us,” Simon adds. “If we fail to make you feel whole and good, you’re free to leave us anytime. Until then, just give us a chance. That’s all we’re asking from you.”

I stare at them, wondering if I could really be this lucky. How could these amazing, brave men want a broken, shitty omega like me?

“Oli, make us some coffee,” Simon says loudly. “And I’ll go see if we’ve got any chocolate chip cookies lying around in the cupboards.”

A grin tugs at the corners of Seth’s lips as he glances down at me.

“Come on,” he says, wrapping an arm around my waist. “I guess we’re overwhelming you with everything. Some coffee and cookies will make you feel better.”

I let him lead me out of the room and back into the living room downstairs. Simon and Oliver follow behind us but they break away when we pass by the kitchen.

Every omega dreams of a pack with alphas like them. They’re brave, kind, and the most handsome men I’ve ever met in my life. It’s amazing how they make my heart beat like a drum one moment and the other, they’re making me laugh so much, I feel breathless.

My desire for them grows stronger with every passing moment.

Seth makes me sit on one of the comfortable leather couches. He’s quiet and patient, letting me dwell in my thoughts.

The smell of coffee rouses me, making me look toward the corridor leading to the kitchen. Simon carries a tray of steaming mugs in his hands while Oliver brandishes a packet of store-bought cookies.

Coming over to the coffee table, Oliver tears open the packet and tips the chocolate chip cookies on a plate. “Enjoy!” he says, cracking a happy grin.

“Thanks,” I say, picking one up. Biting into the crunchy cookie, I moan at the crumbly texture that melts on my tongue. “These are great!”

“Stop smiling like you’re the one who baked it,” Simon drawls, hitting Oliver in the back of his head.

“Asshole,” Oliver mutters, rubbing the sore spot. “That fucking hurt!”

“Yeah? Let me give you something real to bitch about.” Simon slaps Oliver in the same spot again, but harder.

“That’s it!” Oliver roars, getting to his feet.

Within seconds, they start cursing and pawing at each other.

Seth calmly picks up a mug and sips his coffee. Pushing a cup toward me, he says, “Drink up or it’ll go cold.”
