A chuckle escapes him as he meets my gaze. “They’re fighting.”

“What?! Why?”

“Oliver is accusing him of hoarding you last night,” Seth says, shaking his head while his green eyes shine with amusement. “He thinks Simon should’ve woken him up and they could’ve both helped you through the night.”

Memories of last night flash in my mind’s eye. Oliver’s not wrong. The only way it could’ve been better was ifbothSeth and Oliver had joined us.

“Do you feel the same anger as Oliver?” I ask as a sliver of worry wraps around my gut.

“For once, I’m glad they’re spending their energies on giving each other a hard time,” he says, chuckling hard. “Besides, it’syouwho decides who gets to be with you. We’ll always respect your decision to choose between us.”

I step up to him and look into his beautiful eyes. “I don’t want to choose. Even if Oliver and Simon are with me, I’d still want you too.”

My boldness surprises me.

The same astonishment is mirrored in Seth’s eyes as he stares at me.

Holding onto my newfound courage, I step closer to him and press my lips to his.

Seth’s lips morph into a smile against mine. His arm wraps around my waist, pulling me against him as he swipes his tongue over my mouth, coaxing me to open up to him.

My lips part, inviting him in.

His taste is so familiar, I easily drown in the kiss. Heat courses through my veins and concentrates in my core. A massive throb erupts deep in my pussy, making me moan into his mouth.

Seth suddenly breaks away. Desire swirls in his emerald eyes as he stares at me. “I wish we didn’t have an appointment to get to,” he mutters, looking torn. “I wish we could just stay here and hang out with you.”

“Me too,” I say, locking my arms around his neck. “It’d be so boring to stay here by myself.”

“Come on,” he says, suddenly catching my hand. “Simon and Oliver brought some interesting stuff for you from home.”

“Shouldn’t I get dressed first?”

Seth comes to a halt. “Well, if you must,” he says, pressing a kiss to my lips. Beaming, he steps through the door. “I’ll wait here for you.”

Seth’s easy smiles make my heart pound. He’s hot when he’s brooding but when he grins, he’s breathtaking.

Seth hardly smiled when we were together in the hunting lodge. He always looked grim and anxious during those days.

I can only imagine the stress he was under during that time. His pack had no idea where he was and what he was doing. He must’ve felt guilty about hiding his whereabouts from his brothers.

I was an utter bitch to him even though he was protecting me. Seth knew the repercussions he’d face when he went back home but he still never left my side.

Heaving a sigh, I try to ignore my guilt and move toward the bed.

Seth has left me a dress along with matching underwear. Just like last time, he’s got my size right.

Amused, I put on the underwear and proceed to wear the dress. It’s a bright red dress with black velvet trimmings that reaches down to my knees and effectively hides my bony thighs.

Opening the door, I walk out into the corridor.

“I never got the chance to say this to you earlier, but you’ve got amazing taste in fashion,” I say, chuckling. “Most guys would simply be lost in a women’s clothing store. Seriously, how do you know what to buy?”

“As a child, I used to follow my nana around like a puppy,” he says with a warm look in his green eyes. “She was the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen, you know? Even my mom doesn’t compare to her. Nana loved to dress up for my grandpa and she’d often shop around the boutique stores in downtown Jersey. I’d always hang around with her, so I learned a thing or two from her.”

“Where is she now?”

He shakes his head as a somber expression spreads on his face. “She’s no longer with us.”
