When I feel like there’s no way to differentiate them, my gaze focuses on the young man who’s sleeping to my left. Moving closer, I catch a glimpse of a tiny birthmark on his left ear.

My excitement rises as I check to see whether his brother has the same mark. “He doesn’t have one!” I squeal, staring down at the young man on my right.

Pride swells inside me. I’m finally going to be able to tell them apart!

My lips curve into a smile. Happiness spreads through me as I realize how fate has brought me closer to Seth again. It’s amazing to realize the two strangers lying on my either side are Seth’s brothers.

The twins are just as brave and kind as Seth.

They didn’t just rescue me from that awful alpha but also stayed back to protect me. They only bothered to take off their jackets before climbing into bed with me. Neither of them touched me while I was passed out from sheer mental exhaustion.

Reaching out, I lightly touch the birthmark on the man on my left. He continues to snooze, so I lean closer and let my nose skim along his neck.

A delicious fragrance wafts into my nostrils. He smells like freshly-prepared green tea that’s been infused with lemongrass. Taking another big whiff, I turn toward his brother.

My curiosity rises as I sniff at him. Does he smell the same as his twin?

The fragrance of green tea pervades my senses, followed by undertones of a gingery scent.

My grin grows wider. Finding out the subtle differences between them feels like a treasure hunt to me.

“Do you like how I smell, Princess?”

“Oh my!” I gasp as the stranger’s sky-blue eyes meet mine. A broad smile lifts the corners of his lips sending a thrill through me.

“I’m sorry!” I blurt, hurrying to get away from him.

In my haste, I collide with a solid wall.

Turning around, I look up at his twin brother who’s sitting up and smiling at me. Mischief dances in his eyes. “Who do you like more?” he asks. “Me or Oliver?”

I make a quick mental note. The guy with the birthmark is Simon.

“She was smelling me, so obviously she’s chosen me as her favorite,” says Oliver.

“She might’ve already taken a whiff of me before moving over to you,” says Simon.

A hot flush spreads through my cheeks. They’ve both caught me sniffing them.

“Or do you like both of us?” Simon asks with a wink.

I’m so embarrassed, I feel like burying my face in a pillow. “Where exactly are we?” I ask, hoping to change the subject.

“This?” Simon quips, gesturing around the place. “This is Gary’s room.”

“Who’s Gary?”

“Gary Richmond,” Oliver explains in a quiet voice. “He’s the youngest son of the Richmond pack and a close pal of ours. You were having a panic attack, so we didn’t feel it was safe enough to take you back to the party. We brought you here so you could recuperate and get some rest.” A grim expression descends on his handsome face. “How’re you feeling now?”

“I’m feeling much better,” I say, glancing at them both. “About last night...thank you so much for what you did. You guys don’t even know me but you stood up against a man who holds a higher rank than you in the military.”

“Who said we don’t know you?” Simon asks, grinning. “You’re Aurora Bailey, Mayor Bailey’s daughter.”

Surprise sparks inside me. “How did you know?”

“We saw you at one of your dad’s events last year,” says Oliver.

“Oh! Were you with Seth back then?”
