“It will do. Over the bed. Gods know I’m not lying on it.”

“We’ll just take her, da? He has no recompense. Not as if he can run to his Alpha and tell him what he’s done.”

“No. I need one without strings.”

Shrugging his way out of the jacket, the man turned to Devin. Features softening, a warm smile pulled his lips up. It never quite reached the deep brown of his eyes as he unfastened the buttons of his shirt, watching her the entire time.

“What is your name, little one?”

Devin curled closer to the man holding her, his arms promising some measure of safety. Until he didn’t. Twisting her around in his hold, he held Devin by her thighs, back flush against his chest. Folded in half, he forced her to watch the other Alpha as he slowed his movements. A strip tease as he bared more of the tawny gold of his skin that stood in stark contrast against the crisp white of fluttering plackets. Devin licked her lips as he worked his belt free.

“Your name.”

The command left no room for disobedience. Curling in on herself, making her body smaller, Devin stammered out, “Devin Haynes, sir.”

He grunted, satisfied for the moment as Devin kept her attention upon him. Fascinated with each inch of flesh he showed her, the long muscles of her thighs flexed as they tried to rub together. She wasn’t drowning in it. Not yet. She gathered the momentary reprieve to her chest, clinging to it as she tried to focus past the smoky violence clinging to the Alpha’s skin.

So much damn power exuded from him. Even Rey couldn’t compare to the Alpha as he preened beneath her regard. Devin had no chance of standing out against this. She’d never experienced anything close to the two males filling the room with their sheer strength of will.

He wasn’t just opening his pants, had no intentions of a quick rut. This man said he would try her first, and he meant it. Worse still, the one holding her began to join the game. The rough tips of his fingers worked at her spread thighs, sparking sensation across her skin. Miniature fireworks exploded just beneath the surface as he murmured growling words she didn’t understand into the snarled length of her hair. Opening her wider, he pulled at the silken fabric of her shorts. A single tug tore it open. The initial bite of elastic so thrilling, Devin arched and moaned.

The last tenuous thread of her resolve began to unravel, slipping through her fingers in silky strands as the pale eyed giant worked the cheap camisole up her body with jerky movements.

“Very nice,” the man murmured, coming closer. Palms satin smooth, they stroked up the inside of Devin’s thighs, sliding over her hips to cup her ass. Neither Alpha acknowledged the other as he lifted her and brought her to rest against his chest. He gave her a true smile when Devin’s arms and legs curled around him.

“He beats her,” the one behind her ground out, scarred knuckles traveling up Devin’s back.

“Poor dear. Has he hurt you badly,” the other asked, oozing solicitous care as he dropped Devin lower on his hips.

Devin found herself nodding, agreeing with the powerful male. Knowing she was being led down a sinister path, understanding dawned and faded within a stuttering breath as he nudged her entrance with the broad head of his cock.

“Would you like to come with us, little one? You would be taken care of, given the finest things,” he said through a lengthy growl. Nose working through her hair, finding her neck to drag his teeth at the soft skin behind her ear. “Everything you could ever want, all at your fingertips. No more worries, no more running. Would you like that?”

“N-No,” Devin hissed though she arched, rubbing against the Alpha as he prodded slick folds.

“What?”

“I don’t want this,” she moaned, her hips circling, urging the male to continue. Head falling back, sweat beaded her brow as a heady wave of fire ran through her body. The hormones dug their insidious hooks in deep, curling her toes and making her scalp tingle. “I don’t want any of this. Just… want to die.”

“You don’t mean that.” Statement more than question, the blue eyed man gripped Devin’s shoulders, tipping her backwards into his waiting arms so he could search her eyes. “It would be different for you with us.”

“No. No, it wouldn’t.” Unable to process a lie in the throes of the chemical induced heat, Devin let her eyes slip shut. Waiting for the blow that never came, she was gathered up into arms that smelled of danger and wood smoke. They left the dark violence of the powerful Alpha behind as the scarred man carried her back out into the cooling night air.

“You try to sell us damaged goods.” The man eased Devin onto her feet, controlling her fall when her knees folded.

“She’s hardly damaged—”

“What use is an Omega who wants to die?” He sniffed once, derisive though he smoothed a gentle hand over Devin’s crown. “I think we shall do business elsewhere. Perhaps a seller with far more discerning taste.”

“Listen, she’s a little banged up, but she’ll heal and be ready for whatever—”

Beau doubled over with the power of a fist in his belly. Devin struggled to her knees, not feeling the gravel digging into her flesh. The whiff of flat iron confused her even more as she crawled across the barren lot. With no destination, the driving need between her legs unraveling the last of her sanity, she threw herself into the shadows of a stack of pallets. She laid there, breathing in rock dust and pain as Beau’s snarls and howls filled the night air. The other males didn’t make much sound, except a rare grunt or quiet growl. They were a near silent force that sent Beau to his knees, punching at him until he splayed as flat as Devin across the rough shale. Disappearing back into the shadows, they departed.

The night slipped by in stuttering moments. Every sound a threat, each breath bringing her unfamiliar scents. Her desperate noises went unanswered, pleading cries for some end to her torment hanging in the cool air. Riding the heel of her palm did nothing but send her frustrated cries spiraling towards the stars. Cinnamon and chilis came to her on scattered breezes, mixing with the rot and water smell of the warehouses and bay that were so close she heard the lap of the water against the docks. It filled her with repugnance, stomach twisting in anything but desire.

Resisting as long as she could, Devin screeched her anger as she slipped over the loose rock towards the groaning Alpha. He could stop this and make the insatiable hunger end. He could rid her of the pain scraping the back of her skull.

“Please,” Devin mumbled, numb fingers working at Beau’s belt. Movements so practiced, it didn’t matter that her vision swam. Repeating the word, it became a mantra as she opened his clothing enough to crawl over him. Perched in an awkward straddle, all grace lost to her, her hips twitched in jerky thrusts. Whining low in her throat when there was no response, Devin reached between them to grip his flaccid length. She sat hard on it, cries growing shriller as he remained pliant beneath her.
