His smirk morphed into a grin. “If she does, she’s sorely mistaken. She asked for this, so she’s going to lay there and take it.”

“I’m right here!” she interrupted. “And of course I don’t think you’re done, now hurry up and make me come again. Actually, Don, get your ass up here, my mouth still works.”

I looked at Toby and spluttered a laugh at the shocked expression on his face. Here it was, reason #53 that I was in love with this woman.

“You heard the woman.” I said, standing and nudging him before pointing at her glistening cunt. “Hurry up.”

His lips pressed into a thin line then lifted into a determined smile.

“Let’s see if I can make her scream before you blow your load down her throat.” he said then slipped his fingers inside her.

Her mouth fell open and I climbed onto the bed, shoved a pillow under her head, dragged down my shorts, and pushed my aching cock between her lips. It wouldn’t take long for her to bring me to ruin.

***

Light spilled in through the floor to ceiling windows and I dragged the pillow from under my head over my eyes. I was wrecked.

A soft whine came from beside me and a lifted the pillow enough to see what was going on. Nutmeg was lying beside me, glaring at me like I’d just rudely woken her up.

“I was using that.” she hissed and grabbed the pillow, pulling it off of my face and shoving it back under her head.Ah, I had rudely woken her up.

She closed her eyes and folded her arms grumpily. I rubbed my eyes and let them adjust to the light before leaning on my elbow and scanning the room. Toby was still snoring on her other side, and I rolled my eyes. I wished I could sleep that deeply.

“What time is it?” I asked Meg and she cracked an eye and shrugged.

I sighed more loudly than necessary and got out of the bed. I moved around to Toby’s side and grabbed the first pair of shorts I found on the floor. I pulled the phone out of its pocket and huffed when I lit up the screen to find that it wasn’t mine, andthat it was 6.30am.

I went to chuck the phone onto the bedside table but before I put it down it began to ring. I looked at the caller I.D and answered it.

“Toby’s sleeping.” I said.

“Don’t wake him.” His mum said gently. “I was actually trying to get a hold of Megan. Why haven’t either of you answered your phones?”

When did she even get my number?

“Oh, ok, I’ll pass you over.” I said, then tossed the phone at Meg.

She opened her eyes and fixed me with an irate glare. I mouthed ‘phone’ at her, and she frowned. I rolled my eyes and pointed at the phone that had hit her arm. She picked it up, stared at the screen, then held it to her ear.

“Eve, what’s going on? Is everything ok?” she asked.

Her brows pinched tightly as she listened, then relaxed as a thoughtful look spread over her face.

“That’s not my call.” she said, then beckoned me over.

She handed me the phone and whispered that Yvette wanted to speak to me. I had no idea why she’d want to speak to me again.

“Adonis, this is important.” she said hurriedly. “I need to arrange a meeting with you, can you make it to The Hound for 11am?”

“Sure.” I said, confused as all hell. “I’ll be there.”

She ended the call, and I gave Nutmeg a curious look.

“Take Toby with you when you go and call me straight after.” she said and gave me a secretive smile that I found equally annoying and hot.Cagna.

When we had managed to wake the sleeping beast, I dragged him downstairs with me to get breakfast and check on Cooper.

I’d given the staff the night off last night after I’d explained what had happened and had told them to all take as long as they needed. I wasn’t sure if they seemed more shocked, sad or relieved. I put the sadness down to the loss of their head of staff, but it could have been for Lorenzo for all I knew. I’d not got close to any of them, so I really had no idea how they felt. The only one I’d connected with had been Clive, and that was only due to his blatant concern for Nutmeg. I’d told him about our plan when Toby had confided in me, and he had said he was on board with it all. His role hadn’t required him to get involved in the action. He was supposed to have stayed at the house and been ready and waiting to tend to anyone who inevitably got injured. How Nutmeg had ever thought that she could pull it off so smoothly that the only people to end up at least hurt be Lorenzo and maybe that pezzo di merda Grey was beyond me. But Clive had made his own choice and had decided to face off against my stepfather to get his own revenge. I hated that we hadn’t been able to keep him safe, but what could I have done? He was a grown man with his own mind, just like the rest of us.
