“A man made his woman wear a blindfold,” I said, and my voice sounded strangled, even to my own ears.

“Then what’d he do?”

“He tied her hands.”

“And then?”

“You know, feathers, paddles, I think I remember lots of oral.”

Gate laughed, “You’d throw that in there, even if you didn’t remember it.”

I shrugged, “Can’t blame a girl for trying.”

Gate unwound the silk and tossed it to the bed beside me. Then he went for the button of my jeans, “You know I’ll give you all that you want.”

“I know you will.”

“All you gotta do is tell me you need to come.”

“I know,” I whispered.

My jeans hit the floor, followed by my panties.

Then Gate picked up the silk again.

My heartbeat kicked in my chest.

“What are you doing?”

“Trying something new,” Gate said.

He looped the silk chord around one ankle, threaded it through the bed slat, and then wrapped it around the other ankle.

I tested the tie and found that I could still move.

I looked up at Gate.

“You can move, and you can get away. We’re gonna start slow and see what we like.”

He slid his hands under my ass and pulled me toward the edge of the bed. Then he knelt between my spread thighs and feasted.

And I found that I liked it a lot.

Maker

Checking his rear view once again to make sure that Lizzie was still on his six, Maker thought over the past few hours.

He’d sent a prospect to the diner to follow Lizzie home, and he’d left the kid parked outside her trailer until he’d gotten there himself.

The getting there had taken Maker longer than he’d planned because no one could find Axe, and the shit was hitting the proverbial fan.

Fingers pointing, bitches whining.

There was no body, so there was no confirmed death, but now there was no president, so the leadership that should be up for a vote was hanging in the wind because no one wanted to believe that such shit could happen so close to home.

But Maker believed it.
