“Lie back,” Gate directed, nodding to where he wanted her on the bed.
“I was just going to hang up my dress,” Anna started, pointing vaguely in the direction of the closet.
“Told you what I was gonna do to you when we got home. Thought I made myself clear,” Gate said, pulling his shirt over his shoulders and dropping it to the floor.
Anna’s eyes heated, “You did. I just thought….”
Gate stepped closer, “Stop thinking and get where I want you.”
Anna sat on the edge of the bed and laid back.
Gate’s voice dropped low, “Good girl.”
He stepped between her thighs and nudged her knees further apart. He took one knee in his hand and slid his fingers down to her ankle and then back up.
“Shoes are sexy as fuck, kitten,” Gate said.
“I’m glad you think so,” Anna whispered.
“So’s the dress.”
“Thank you.”
Anna’s whisper had gone darker somehow, and the vision before him, Anna splayed out with her dress riding up to her hips, sent all the blood in Gate’s body straight to his cock.
“Wanna try something tonight,” Gate said.
Anna cocked her head, “Okay.”
Gate noticed the tremor in her voice and was determined that whatever came out of this night, he’d make it good for her. Worth the trust she was giving him.
He crossed to the nightstand and opened a drawer, retrieved what he wanted, and returned to his woman.
He heard her gasp when she saw the velvet rope in his hands.
“Gonna tie your hands.” Gate’s voice dipped to straight gravel, “You okay with that?”
Anna swallowed. “Is that all?”
“For now,” Gate admitted.
“Okay,” Anna said, holding out her hands.
“Clasp them for me,” Gate instructed.
She intwined her fingers, and Gate set to wrapping the velvet rope around her wrists.
Anna’s breath went shallow.
“You’re gonna be able to move,” Gate explained. “And I’m sure you could get out of this if you wanted to.”
He watched Anna watch him.
“But you hope I don’t want to,” she guessed.
Gate grinned, “I’m hoping.”
Anna’s breath steadied. “I’ll try it.”
