Following Gate’s directions settled somewhere deep inside of me. I was safe because it was Gate. As long as Gate had me, I didn’t have to worry. I could let everything else go.
I intwined my fingers, and Gate set to wrapping the velvet rope around my wrists. And as much as I wanted this, my breath went shallow. Not because I didn’t trust Gate, but because I was afraid of how much I’d like whatever he did to me.
“You’re gonna be able to move,” Gate explained. “And I’m sure you could get out of this if you wanted to.”
I watched the intensity of his focus on me.
“But you hope I don’t want to,” I guessed.
Gate grinned, “I’m hoping.”
“I’ll try it.”
I’d try anything for him.
“All I’m asking,” Gate said, smoothing his fingers along the velvet rope and onto my skin.
Gate studied me and shook his head, “Better than any dream I ever had. You okay?”
“So far,” I nodded.
Gate skimmed his hands up my thighs until he hit the lace of my thong. He hooked his fingers inside and took his time sliding the lace down my legs.
I couldn’t stop the twitch of my hips.
Gate grinned, “How you feeling?”
“Impatient,” I muttered, hoping at the same time that he’d hurry up and that time would stand still.
“Why do you think that is?” Gate asked, finally pulling the thong over my heels. He dropped it to the floor with his shirt.
“Because I can’t help you,” I huffed, gesturing with my tied hands.
Gate chuckled and slid the backs of his fingers up the insides of my thighs. Chills ghosted across my skin, and my nipples pebbled tight.
“How does it feel to have to wait?”
“Squirmy.”
Gate got to his knees, and I wanted to thank heaven that he was getting closer to where I wanted him to be.
“Squirmy?”
“Yeah, it makes me want to squirm around,” I said, wiggling my hips.
“I like it when you squirm around,” Gate chuckled.
“You just like to chase me.”
“Not even gonna deny that,” Gate said, kissing his way up my thigh. “Now try to be still.”
Gate nudged my legs even further apart with his shoulders and kissed the crease between my hip and thigh.
I sighed and moved my hips toward his mouth.
Gate stopped. “Told you to be still.”
Liquid heat flooded my core, “I’mtrying.”
