His garbled words had me grinning down at him. He was so beautiful, so perfectly mine that I couldn't stop the next words that came out of my mouth.

"Marry me," I demanded. "Become mine in every fucking way so I can show the world how important you are to me."

"Yes! Yes, Daddy. That's what I want." Dante's answer fueled the beast in me. I fucked him through his orgasm and mine. Then I got us showered and rimmed him until he was damn near crying. Only after all that did I finally let him pull up wedding chapels on my phone.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

DANTE

"Gonna get married...."played over the speakers of the small chapel inside Pharrell's hotel. When I called him to ask if there was any way to get a spot on today's appointment list, he told me it was an immediate yes. He even agreed to bring his wife as a witness.

Two hours after being asked for my hand in marriage, I stood at the front of a Vegas chapel saying vows I couldn't have imagined getting the chance to say just a week ago. The end game was always to be with Preacher. He has and will be my forever. But this... marriage? Well, it was a pipe dream until my father was handled.

So much for keeping to plans.

It's a quick ceremony, led by an immaculately dressed man I think Pharrell brought in aside from their normal guy. He's a bit too polished for Vegas weddings, but what did I know? It was my first time.

"You two should get some rest. We'll have a five-course meal sent up later this evening," Pharrell's wife, Stasia, told us with a beaming smile. She was a sweetheart of a woman who wound up catching a break in her arranged marriage. Their families might have set it up, but she and Pharrell were the real masterminds of it all. They'd taken their alliance for what it was worth, using their strengths to build their Vegas empire into something my father would covet had he known all the details.

"Thank you for coming. We appreciate all you've done to help get this going so quickly," I said as I hugged her goodbye. While she and I weren't as close as I was with her husband, she was still lovely to spend time with.

"It was nothing. I have business to attend to, so please excuse me." She swept away into the sea of people on the lower floors of the hotel.

Pharrell clapped me on the back. "If either of you decide to gamble, the casino is open to you. VIP is open as well as a gift to you. Feel free to take advantage of whatever it is that you'd like to try out. It's all on us."

Daddy stepped forward to thank him as well, and I noticed the two of them shared a smile. When they pulled apart from their half hug thing, Pharrell nodded and followed the same path his wife took through the hotel. It always amazed me to watch him move through a space. Both he and Stasia could part crowds without having to utter a word. It was like people inherently knew they held the power of the city in their fingertips.

"Let's get back to our room. I want to take my time getting acquainted with my husband before we have to leave tomorrow."

My husband.

I didn't think I'd ever get tired of hearing it.

The restof our impromptu wedding day went on without a hitch. We were sent the five-course meal, just like the Lyons had promised. And there was even a big helping of spaghetti included, a surprise Daddy had arranged with Pharrell to send up.

We slept hard after exploring each other's bodies more, then the next thing I knew, it was morning and time to go. Stasia and Pharrell came to the room right as we were loading up to leave.

"Good morning, you two. You look rather well rested for a newlywed couple," Stasia teased.

I laughed as a blush came over me. Daddy took the initiative to speak instead.

"We made sure to get plenty of rest between rounds. To what do we owe the pleasure of your visit?"

Pharrell leaned against the wall of the entryway as Stasia smiled over at us. "Do tell them, Pharrell. The suspense is killing me."

"Stasia's father has agreed to lend his full assistance to your cause. He only intends to keep a minimal number of guards around his properties and himself. The rest are at your disposal."

Daddy turned to look at me as he asked the same question I had. "And how many men is that approximately?"

"Nearly a thousand," Stasia squealed.

My jaw dropped. "That's magnificent. We'll have more than enough to hold off my father's men."

"It's going to be a massacre." Daddy's words had everyone in the room turning his way. "Do these men know what they're risking? What they're going up against?"

Stasia nodded as she stepped closer. "They do. They're loyal till death comes for them. And I think many are eager to see the end of the current Romano reign. Knowing they'll help usher in the new head of the organization is a bonus to help with their bloodthirst."
