Page 15 of Not-So Fake Fiancé

I tamped down the jealousy surging to the surface so I didn’t look like an obsessed lunatic. “Mick?” I queried in a neutral tone I was extremely proud of.

“He’s one of my grandpa’s physical therapists,” she explained, glancing up at me with a puzzled expression.

Perhaps I didn’t hide it as well as I thought.

The corners of my lips lifted, and I placed a possessive hand on her lower back as we headed toward the door.

“How did he do today?” McKenna asked when we were a few feet from the kid…who was about to lose some of his pearly whites if he didn’t stop looking at my girl with barely veiled want.

“He’s doing great. He’ll be off the walker in a couple of days and shouldn’t need us much longer.”

Thank fuck. If this little shit wasn’t gone quickly, I doubted he’d leave with all his bones intact. But since this wasn’t his last day, I was going to make it really fucking clear that McKenna was off-limits.

“That’s great news,” I said as I moved to stand at her back and slipped an arm around her waist before raising her left hand and kissing the ring on her finger. “I know my fiancée has been very worried about him. Right, baby?”

“Um, yeah.” McKenna looked up at me with an odd expression, and I gave her a fast kiss.

“Fiancée?” Mick asked, looking between McKenna and me, clearly confused.

“Oh sorry,” I said insincerely. “I’m Jeremy. McKenna’s fiancé.”

“I, uh, didn’t realize you were engaged.”

“Yup,” I replied, cutting off anything McKenna might have said. “Well, nice meeting you, but we have plans with Corbin.”

Without waiting for another second, I ushered her into the house and slammed the door shut behind us.

McKenna rounded on me, her mouth open, and her eyes widened in shock. “Did you really just do that?”

I played dumb. “Do what, baby?”

She gestured to the door and hissed, “You practically peed a circle around me.”

I shrugged. “I didn’t like the way he was looking at you, and you’re my fiancée.”

“Fakefiancée,” she snapped.

My teeth ground together at her statement. I closed the distance between us in two strides and bent my head so our faces were only inches apart.

“McKenna, you let me pop your cherry and spent last night with my cock buried inside your tight little pussy. This morning, you let me fuck you with my tongue until you screamed my name. You aremine.”

Her cheeks bloomed with pink, but her brown orbs heated, and she wasn’t able to hide the shiver that raced down her body. It took all my energy not to drag her off to the nearest room with a door and fuck her.

“Did you like me being jealous, McKenna? Did my possessive need to claim you make you wet?”

She shook her head, and I raised a single eyebrow. Then I shoved my hand under her skirt and slipped a finger inside her panties. A groan escaped my chest when the digit came away soaked. I sucked it clean, and her tits bounced as her breathing turned choppy.

“You can try to deny it, but your body doesn’t lie, baby…”

“McKenna!”

We both froze at Corbin’s voice, and McKenna tried to step away, but I wouldn’t let her go. I allowed her to turn around, then threw my arm over her shoulders and tucked her into my side.

Corbin came around the corner, using a walker, but with a lot more color to his face than when I’d seen him a couple of days ago. “I thought I heard you.” He stopped, and his gaze bounced between his granddaughter and me. A look of surprise washed over his face, but a flicker in his eyes made me think he was hiding something.

“Grandpa, how are you?” McKenna’s voice was warm and filled with affection. Damn, I wanted to hear her talk to me like that.

“I’m better now that you’re here, my dear. Let’s go sit down. Then you can tell me all about why you and Mr. Bardot are here to have lunch with me…together.”
