“Not the good kind…” My swagger faltered when I put too much pressure on my heel and my knee buckled from the spike of pain. “Fuck.”

“Okay, you.” The doctor reached for my arm and helped me into an exam room. “Let’s see what we’re working with.”

“We'll wait out here.” Harris was almost holding Jesse back. “You’re in good hands, Jason.”

“I certainly hope so.” I winked at Jesse and could see the mortification on his face as the good doctor closed the door behind him.

“Behave!” Jesse called out to me.

It was a wasted effort, but he was adorable for trying. Behaving was never one of my stronger characteristics.

TONY

“Jason, is that right?” I wrote his name on my intake form, avoiding making eye contact. I didn’t want to get caught staring, so I studied the paper in my hand. “And what’s your last name?”

“Millionia.” He leaned against the exam table and ducked his chin so he was staring at the ground. “Um, I’m not sure if Harris mentioned that I don’t have medical insurance, but I’ll need to pay cash.”

With his eyes averted, it was easier for me to get a good look at him. He was beautiful. His blondish hair was kinda spiky and he had a skater vibe that was sexy on him. But he was young. Probably mid-twenties. Too young for me. Although, the way he was flirting made me wonder if it was all an act or if any of his interest was real. “Don’t worry about that. Any friend of Jesse’s is a friend of mine. I’m Dr. Tony. It’s nice to meet you.”

He looked right up and met my eyes. “Oh, I’ve never had a doctorfriend. If there’s anything I can do for you… I can be very friendly.” He waggled his eyebrows, making sure I caught the innuendo.

I had to lower my clipboard to cover my growing erection. I cleared my throat and sat on my rolling stool, careful to keep my coat over my lap as I did. “Let’s get a look at this cut of yours.”

He had been doing a decent job cleaning the cut but there was some infection that needed to be cleared out and I added a few butterfly stitches to make sure it stayed closed. After giving him a bottle of antibiotics, Harris and Jesse drove him home.

And I made a date with my hand because the dry spell I’d been happily wallowing in for the past year was officially over…and I was horny as hell.

Over the next few months, Harris kept me in the loop on how things were going with Jesse…and managed to drop hints about Jason too. I tried to play it cool and not come across as interested, but he knew me well.

We’d been friends for a long time after meeting at a Daddy/boy meet and greet. Since then, we’d both had random hookups that never amounted to anything, but now that he was in a real relationship, one that seemed like it was the real deal, I couldn’t help but feel some envy for him.

He now had everything I’d always wanted.

And his boy was perfect for him. Jesse was sweet and silly and exactly right for Harris.

Just thinking about them made my mind wander to Jason.

He was exactly right for me.

Well, I didn’t know that for sure. In fact, I didn’t know Jason at all. I’d only met him the one time in the clinic, but I hadn’t been able to stop thinking about him since that day. And he’d been staring in all my waking and sleeping fantasies since then.

“What’s got you thinking so hard?” Harris dropped into the seat across from me at the coffee shop near my office. “That line in your forehead is pulsing like Hardwell is spinning.”

“Hard what?” I grabbed my cup from the table then nodded to his. “What are you drinking in there?”

“Hardwell. He’s an EDM DJ guy. I dunno. The boys were talking about him the other day and I guess the name stuck in my head.”

“The boys?” Now my interest was piqued. “Jesse and…one of his friends?”

Harris grinned and took a drink, keeping his eyes on me. “You mean Jason?”

“Oh, right. That’s the guy who came to the clinic, right? How’s he doing?”

“Don’t play coy with me.” Harris laughed and shook his head. “You know that’s his name. You manage to ask about him every time we talk.”
