The worries and turmoil of the outside world seemed distant and insignificant.
Suddenly, Dominic looked up from his toys and crawled towards us, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Mommy, Auntie Jessie, will you play with me?"
I laughed softly and scooped him up into my arms.
"Of course, sweetheart. What would you like to play?"
Dominic's face lit up with excitement.
"Let's build a tower with my blocks!"
Jessie joined us on the floor, and we began building a tower together, each of us carefully placing blocks on top of one another.
As we worked as a team, laughter and joy filled the room, momentarily pushing aside the weight of the world.
As the tower grew taller and more precarious, we cheered with delight.
Dominic clapped his hands, his eyes shining with pride.
In that simple act of building a tower, we found solace and a reminder of the beauty that could be found in the simplest of moments.
The evening drifted on, and as the night settled in, we tucked Dominic into bed, his small form wrapped in the warmth of his blankets.
With a soft kiss on his forehead, I whispered, "Goodnight, my sweet boy. Dream big and know that you are loved."
Jessie and I retreated to the living room, immersing ourselves in a world of shared stories, laughter, and dreams.
At that moment, the weight of worries and uncertainties seemed to diminish, replaced by a sense of comfort and camaraderie.

Dante
Fanculo!
This could not be happening!
I was seated behind my desk, engrossed in the latest news concerning the leakage of my relationship with Angela when Vito came into my office bearing terrible news.
"Dante, we have a problem," Vito said, his voice heavy with worry and incredulity.
My heart sank. "What is it, Vito?Quello che è successo?” I questioned.
He took a deep breath before speaking. "Our company is facing a lawsuit. It's a serious claim, accusing us of fraud and financial misconduct."
A knot tightened in my stomach. This lawsuit could have serious consequences, not just for the company, but for my reputation as well.
The weight of the accusations threatened to overwhelm me.
Leaning back in my chair, I tried to collect my thoughts.
"Who filed the lawsuit, Vito? What are the details?"
Vito handed me a folder with the legal documents.
"It's a major competitor but I don’t know who and they're accusing us of using unethical practices to gain an advantage. That’s the only information I can get. The claims are severe, Dante."
