Aftertheattackthathad happened on I and Dante’s date night, I had barely stepped out of the house.
While the news about my relationship with Dante was no longer in circulation, I still hadn’t resumed my duties at the hospital, something I was now grateful for.
I was in the living room of the Cortini mansion, flipping through a magazine when Caterina walked in with a mischievous smile on her face.

“Angela, darling, I have an idea that might put a sparkle in your eyes. How about we have a girl's day out?” Caterina asked while plopping down onto the couch beside me

“Nothing will happen. I promise.” She assured me solemnly.

I swallowed nervously and cracked a wobbly smile. “That sounds like nice could use a day to unwind and have some fun, but I can't leave him alone.
Caterina's eyes twinkled with delight as she quickly reassured me.
“Oh, don't you worry, my dear? Dante has arranged for the butler to take care of Dominic for the day. He'll be perfectly fine, and we can enjoy our time without any worries. Besides, I was thinking, why not bring your best friend Jessie along? It'll be a delightful surprise for her, and we'll have even more fun!”
I couldn't help but smile at the thought of spending the day with both Caterina and Jessie.
