Each time I saw her with Caterina and Dante, it was clear that she loved them and vice versa.

I only hoped that I hadn’t left a bad impression on Isabella’s mind.

I decided to throw my conflicting thoughts about Dante’s stepmother to the back of my mind and focus on something more positive.

I moved through my familiar pattern as I got washed up and got ready to start another day.

As I dressed up, excitement filled me as I realized that today was Friday.

The thought of tomorrow, when I would finally get to see my son, brought a wave of joy that uplifted my spirits.

With renewed vigor, I left my bedroom and set out to check on Salvatore Cortini.

As I moved through the house, I found comfort in the well-organized rooms.

The Cortini family had an eye for detail, and everything had its place.

The spacious kitchen beckoned me with its gleaming countertops and state-of-the-art appliances.

It was a pleasure to prepare meals for Dante's father there, knowing that he would be nourished and cared for in this beautiful environment.

Normally, even though I was supposed to prepare his meals due to the dietary modifications, I was often bustled to the side by Luigi, who insisted on it doing it as it was his job.

As much as I tried to argue against him that It was also my job, he never budged an inch.

Luckily, he wasn’t around, which seemed a little odd as he always seemed to be here, but I brushed it off as him having another duty to attend to.

I envied his stamina. For an old man, he was certainly full of energy.

I quickly set about a meal that would fulfill Dante’s father’s dietary requirements before making my way to his room.

When I got there, he was still asleep, which was to be expected as he was an elderly man and still recovering.

I placed his meal on his bedside and covered it.

Afterward, I monitored his vitals such as his blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels.

Since there was still time left to take his medicine, I decided that I would let him sleep for a while longer.

After all, resting played a crucial role in the journey of recovery.

As I carried out my duties with dedication, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Cortini family and their home.

A chuckle slipped from my mouth when I remembered how desperate I was to avoid coming here, but as I interacted with each family member, my mind slowly changed, and I looked forward to coming here at the start of every week.

Their kindness and gratitude for my presence filled every interaction.

We shared stories and laughter, creating a sense of camaraderie that made the days feel brighter.

When I was done, I pulled away with a satisfied grin.

I could say with confidence that his health was recovering and that he was getting better.

Although we had already determined that he would pull through, it was nice to see his health progressing positively with the use of Vitalin with my own eyes.

I made my way downstairs to fix myself something to eat, but on getting to the kitchen, I bumped into Luigi.

"Good morning, Angela," he said, his voice filled with kindness as his head shot up at my arrival. "How are you today?"
