Jessie's eyes sparkled with delight.

She grinned with faux haughtiness.
I playfully rolled my eyes.
"He truly is. Having Dante by his side has made all the difference. Dante has been a devoted father, ensuring that Dominic feels safe and loved in this new environment. Their bond has strengthened, and I couldn't be happier."
A moment of silence passed between us before Jessie's gaze turned thoughtful.
"Angela, I can't help but worry about the dangers associated with Dante's world. How are you coping with that?"
My smile wavered slightly, the weight of my concerns surfacing.
"I won't deny that it's something that crosses my mind often, Jessie. The ties to the mafia are undeniable, and the risks are very real. Jessie reached out, gently squeezing my hand.

With the number of bodyguards in this mansion, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them had informed him about her presence.
