After a busy week, Angela and I needed some time together.

We planned a date night and left Dominic with Luigi, our trusted nanny.

I knew he would take good care of our son, which made me feel at ease.

As we walked hand in hand, the evening felt peaceful.

It was just the two of us enjoying each other's company without any worries.

Angela's smile and sparkling eyes made me feel loved.

She was always there for me, supporting me through thick and thin.

"I'm glad we're having this date night," Angela said happily.

"It's been so long since we had one."

I agreed, squeezing her hand gently.

"Yes, it has been busy. But tonight, it's just you and me."

We walked leisurely, enjoying the calmness of the night.

Angela then brought up Caterina's wedding.

"So, what should we wear?" she asked playfully.

"Any ideas?"

I chuckled, knowing how much Angela enjoyed talking about fashion.

"How about a black suit for me and a beautiful evening gown for you? We should look elegant but not overshadow the bride. I don’t think Caterina would ever forgive us if we did so." I joked.

We continued discussing the wedding and different things, which later led to me telling her some stories about myself and Caterina when we were younger.

It was a fun conversation filled with laughter.

We had a romantic table for two when we arrived at the cozy restaurant.

Soft music and candles created a romantic atmosphere.

Over a delicious meal, we spoke about our dreams for the future, opening up to each other and strengthening our bond.

As our date night ended, I called one of my drivers, and we headed home with our hands intertwined in the backseat.

Seeing Dominic safe with Luigi made me happy.

With a sense of peace, we went to our bedroom, ready to rest.

I was amazed at how everything in my life was running smoothly, although there had been some twists and curves.

Now, it seemed that all the bad energy had gone to leave me with peace and happiness.
