“Is he gone?” I whisper, so only Prescott can hear me.

“He better be.” He rolls to his back, his hand covering his face. “Damn, that was close.”

“Tell me about it.” I let out a soft chuckle, “Hellcat?”

Prescott turns his head toward me. “I told you he gave you that nickname because of the scratch marks.”

“Right. I’m sorry, I—”

“Yo, Wentworth!” Spencer yells, but thankfully this time around, the door stays closed. “Are you going to the gym, or do you plan on staying in bed the whole day?”

Prescott curses silently next to me. “I should probably go. If I let him go alone, he’ll tell everybody about the girl in my bed.”

“He’ll probably do it anyway.”

“True, but this way, I can do some damage control.” He pushes upright, the sheet falling down to his waist and revealing all those glorious muscles. I sink my teeth into my lower lip as I watch him get up, completely naked. His firm ass tightens, and the image of him pounding into me last night flashes in my mind making the heat bloom in my belly.

Prescott looks over his shoulder, a knowing smirk curling his lips. “If you keep watching me like that, I might just stay here instead.”

“Didn’t you just say you have to go?”

“I changed my mind. Who needs the gym when I have a hellcat in my bed?” he wiggles his brows.

“Stop it!” I throw a pillow at him. “Go to the gym. You know Spencer won’t be able to help himself.”

“I know.” He groans but makes his way to the closet and grabs a pair of boxers.

I watch with regret as he pulls them on and grabs a shirt next. “What will you do?”

“Go home.” I shrug. “It’s still early enough for me to sneak out, and if you take your roommate with you, I won’t even have to use the window.”

“You could do that,” Prescott nods and grabs his sweats before looking up at me. “Or you could stay. It’s early, and I know how much you hate being up at the crack of dawn.”

He is right. I hate being woken up, mostly because I barely get any sleep during the night. But last night, I even managed to get a few hours of blissful, uninterrupted sleep. Well, until Spencer showed up and ruined it all.

“Any plans for later?”

“I have that project to work on.”

“The gallery thing?”

“Yeah, I still haven’t come up with an idea.”

Prescott comes to the bed and presses his hand against the headboard as he leans down, his lips brushing against mine. “You’ll figure it out.”

Straightening, he grabs his keys from the nightstand and takes one off. “So you can lock up before leaving.”

“Oh, okay. Do you want me to leave it somewhere?”

Prescott shakes his head. “Just keep it with you. I’ll see you later.”

“Later?”

“You’re coming to the game, right?”

“The game, right.” I look at the key in my hand like it’s an alien. He can’t mean for me to keep it, can he? “Yeah, I’m coming to the game.”

“Then I’ll see you later.”
