“Lucky guess?” Prescott shrugs.

“Lucky guess, huh?” I narrow my eyes at him as I sit down on the bed, placing the box on the mattress. Prescott sits on the other side. “Okay, maybe it’s my favorite too.”

“I’d have taken you for a pepperoni guy.”

“Well, I guess you don’t know everything about me either, now, do you?” he asks, grabbing a slice of pizza.

No, I guess not.

Shaking my head, I start the next episode before grabbing a slice of my own. I bring it to my mouth and take a big bite. My eyes fall shut at the first taste of the melted cheese on my tongue, a moan slipping past my lips.

“Damn, you didn’t even sound like that when I made you come.”

I glare at him. “You’re lucky my hands are full, or I’d throw a pillow at you.”

“You’re violent when you’re PMSing. And here I was trying to be nice and bring you some food.”

“I’m not having sex with you, so you don’t need to try to get into my good graces.”

Prescott lets his head fall back as he lets out a loud groan. “For fuck’s sake. It’s not all about sex.”

There’s a beat of silence as his words ring between us.

I lower my hands, my tongue darting out to slide over my lips. “Well, that’s what we agreed on.”

“I don’t fucking care what we agreed on.” Prescott stuffs the rest of his pizza into his mouth.

He doesn’t care? Is he for real now? How can he not care?

“Well, I care.” I let out a sigh. “Why are you here, Prescott?”

“I was bored and figured we could hang out. Is that so bad?”

“It’s strange. We don’t just hang out for the sake of hanging out.”

“We do.”

“Tell me once that we hung out just for the sake of it.”

“Are you serious right now?”

“Humor me.”

“Fine.” He grabs another slice from the box and leans against the wall. “We hung out that night at the gym.”

I shake my head. “Doesn’t count.”

“Why the hell not?”

“We met at the gym by coincidence and then proceeded to have sex, that’s why.”

“Okay, how about that time you took photos of me for that article?”

“That was work.”

Prescott groans. “I don’t see how it matters anyhow. Can we just eat pizza and watch your murder shows?”

“Fine.” I roll my eyes. “This is my favorite episode, anyhow.”
