He tries to reach for my forehead, but I push him back. “Yeah, I’m sick of you hovering. I’ll see you at home.”

Spencer laughs, “Maybe, maybe not.”

Well, at least one of us will have fun tonight.

I lift my hand in a wave and turn toward the back door. The inside of the house is packed almost as much as the outside; only it’s excruciatingly hot.

I’m pushing through the people, trying to get out of there, when I catch a glimpse of dark hair at the bottom of the stairs.

Jade Cole.

She’s walking up the stairs with two guys. Not even walking, more like being carried. Their hands are under her armpits, holding her upright as she stumbles over the steps.

Jade’s head falls back as she laughs at something one of them said, but it’s clear that she’s drunk. I narrow my eyes at them just as they hit the top stair. No, not even drunk. Downright intoxicated.

My fingers ball by my sides, my nails digging into my skin. I look around, trying to find any of her friends, Nixon, anybody, but just as my luck would have it, there’s nobody.

“Fucking hell.”

I glance at the door.

Go home. This is none of your goddamn business. For all you know, she’s into those guys and completely fine with what’s about to go down.

Yet, no matter how much I try to convince myself that that’s true, I can’t look away.

That’s why they have to carry her up the stairs?

Jade’s wicked smile and those blue eyes of hers shining brightly in the moonlight on the Hawaiian beach flash in my mind. The feel of her body as she fell on top of me just the other day, her scent surrounding me.

What if she wants this?

But what if she doesn’t?

Muttering curses, I push a guy out of my way and take the stairs two at a time. The ache in my leg intensifies, and I’m breathing hard by the time I’m at the top. The hallway is empty, and all the doors are closed.

“Brilliant.”

The moment I get my hands on her, I’m going to strangle her.

Walking down the hallway, I open one door after the other. People curse me for interrupting them, but I don’t give a damn as I move to the next room. You’d think people would be smarter and lock the damn door behind themselves if they don’t want to be interrupted.

Three rooms later, I find her.

One of the preppy boys is lying on top of her while the other is standing by the side, wanking his small dick.

For a split second, all I can do is stare, seeing red. My breathing is ragged, fingers curling around the door handle, and I’m surprised I didn’t pull it out.

Jade’s body moves underneath him. In want or in protest? I can hear her murmuring something, but her voice is so soft I can’t decipher the words.

“Don’t play coy now,” the guy on top of her snickers, his fingers wrapping around her wrists and pinning them over her head.

“You sure as hell weren’t coy downstairs when you were rubbing all over our dicks,” the other one says, grabbing one of her exposed breasts.

Jade flitches from his touch as she struggles under the other guy who’s pinning her to the bed. “N-no.”

Good enough for me.

They’re so into it that they don’t even notice me there until I cross the room and grab the asshole lying on top of her off. His legs fly, trying to find some footing, but I pull him high enough so I can connect my fist with his face.
