“Yes, you will,” Enrique says easily, leaving no room for argument.

I bite the inside of my cheek, my nerves getting the better of me. “Maybe this isn’t such a good idea.”

“You’ll do fine.” Enrique shoves a small plastic ball into my hand. “Just throw the ball. There are ten cups on each side. You’ll probably hit one. And Lawrence is already buzzed, so I guess your odds are pretty even.”

“Is he blindfolded also?”

“No. Why would he be blindfolded?”

I shake my head at the sound of complete confusion coming from Enrique. “No reason.”

It’s just a game of beer pong. Shot pong? Whatever, it doesn’t even matter.

“Ladies first,” Lawrence says, and I can hear a few of his friends snicker.

I weigh the ball in my hand, trying to figure out the length of the table and the force I’ll need to throw it. I lift my hand to toss it, when I hear Jade yell excitedly: “Prescott!” My attention wavers and the ball slips from my fingers before I can stop it.

“Ouch! What the fuck, dude?” Lawrence yells just as people erupt into laughter, Enrique included.

“Wha—”

“You fucking hit me. What are you? Blind?” Lawrence hisses.

Oh. My. God.

My hand flies to cover my mouth, and I’m not sure if I should be mortified or laugh. I don’t think he’ll appreciate the latter, though.

“She is blind, you asshole,” Enrique comments.

“I’m so so—” I start to apologize when big hands wrap around my waist, pulling me into a firm chest.

“I thought we agreed I’d help you with the list,” a husky voice whispers in my ear, his warm breath making goosebumps appear on my skin.

Sebastian.

My eyes fall shut of their own volition, and it feels like hundreds of butterflies are doing summersaults inside my stomach. I lean back as if my body has a mind of its own when he’s around.

Shit! What is he doing here?

“W-what?”

“Beer pong. It’s on the list.”

The freaking bucket list. Of course, he’s talking about that.

Because what else would he be talking about? Shaking my head, I turn around to face him, suddenly feeling irritated with him.

“Yes, so?” I cross my arms over my chest.

“I thought we agreed I’d help you with it.”

“You did. You got me to say yes to something new.Twiceif I might add. Your role is complete, happy?”

“That’s not what we agreed on, Birdy.”

“I don’t—”

“Are you playing or what?” Lawrence asks, clearly annoyed. “I’ve got places to be.”
