I grinned and kissed Chelsea’s cheek. “I had my best friend, and that was enough. You guys weren’t all that bad either.”

“We’re humbled.”

Chelsea looked at her watch a little impatiently. “Where is he?”

I scowled at her. “What did you do, Chelsea? Did you get yourself a date in... three hours?”

She giggled. “Hey, I had some time to kill in between ops, and this boy really helped with my nerves.”

A cute boy in his late twenties, ruffled brown hair and happy eyes, arrived at the table.

“Hey, Chelsea.”

He sounded shy. Not her usual type, but really adorable.

“Okay, if you guys become a thing, he’s going to have to interview with me first.” I gave him a stern bombastic side-eye.

He actually blushed a little. “I helped her climb up to your room. It was all very exciting.”

I grinned. “You did good.”

Chelsea got up from the table. “Well, it’s been a very long night, and I want to go to a bar and get drunk. Tomorrow, I’ll come over to your place with the sample results and more from Ali.”

I nodded and hugged her tightly. “Thank you for being the best best friend ever.”

“Hey, you get what you deserve.” She kissed the top of my head and bounced out of the room, her besotted date in tow.

The men looked at me. “So...”

I shrugged. “Do you guys still have rooms for the night?”

I didn’t fancy going back to my one, not after everything that had happened in it.

Benjamin grinned. “We can go to my one. Elijah didn’t take one because he has to get home and Noah decided he’d bunk with me.”

After Noah finished his second round of cucumber sandwiches, we took the stairs to Benjamin’s bedroom.

As the door closed behind us, the low timbres of Elijah’s voice filled the room. It was like raw honey, freshly harvested on a ripe summer morning.

I turned around to face my professors, my eyes gleaming with expectation.

I wasn’t surprised at the hunger dawning on their own faces, mirroring what I felt.

“Dinner is served,” I giggled, undoing the fastenings of my dress and letting it fall in a heap to the floor.

“You make me burn,” Elijah whispered, his lips turning up in a slow smile that traveled straight to his ocean eyes.

I pulled him closer, keeping my eyes fixed on Noah while I sank my mouth into Elijah’s, kissing him deeply.

The rolling, eager sounds of our bodies meeting in a dance of feverish rain filled the room.

From a balcony further down, low vintage jazz played lazily, its mellow sounds wafting in through the window of the room.It set off the crisp, cool wind that was traveling through the city tonight.

I broke the kiss and turned, making sure to sway my hips as I walked over to the table at the other end of the room.

I leaned over under the pretense of tipping a carafe of whiskey into four glasses.

Noah came over to help me. I could feel his hardness pressing against my ass. He pulled my panties down.
