That was what Natasha Finch meant to me. You could think of her as a master-manipulator, wielding her strings over this college because the students were all her puppets.

She was a tiny little woman, hardly a pea over five feet. Slender and unassuming, she maintained a graceful smile whenever she paid a visit. Kids loved her because she made them feel validated.

Kids were fools.

Natasha used her position to cover up our neat little network of drugs and my love for young flesh. We used a network of students as our dealers, coercing them into compliance.

That wasn’t a biggie because I had all the evidence I needed to make some of them my slaves for life. These students peddled and sold the drugs to others who paid a premium for access.

It was a social service, really. I was just getting them high so they could study harder.

The real high came from breaking so many laws and getting away with it each time. No one could understand that, barring Mrs. Finch. It was a dangerous little game to us, a way to prove we were supreme. The superior beings.

And right now, staring into the honeydew eyes of my next would-be victim, I felt a flutter of excitement stir in my evil chromosomes. I would own her. I could do it right now, but no, what fun would that be?

I’d make her run, first.

And she would. Because like the others before her, she hadn’t heard the little ol’ saying.

Never listen to monsters when they tell you to run, because they’re about to give chase.

Oh, I’d hunt her down and strip her bare. She’d be putty in my hands.

Unable to control my excitement any longer, I sent out word through my secretary. Aurora Sullivan was summoned to my office once more.

She came a good half-hour later. The girl had a penchant for making me wait. Good. I enjoyed that.

Ah, she was stunning. Curves like those! Her face was impossibly young, and her lips looked like the opening buds of a new flower. The things I wanted to do with them.

“Did you call me, sir?” she asked, taking a seat without being told to.

Oh. Resistance. The predator in me could smell it on her skin. It was sweet. So sweet.

“Aurora Sullivan.” I leaned back in my chair and tapped my fingers. “I have been going over your records. I must say, you’re quite the impressive achiever. Your history is impeccable. A high GPA, research experience, and quite the dancer.”

“I was a cheerleader, sir. Not a dancer,” she replied, her tone stiff.

“Of course.” I bared my teeth. “Why did you leave? What made you decide to transfer?”

Her shoulders dropped, and her face suddenly turned dark. She clearly had a history I could exploit. But when she spoke once more, her voice radiated confidence.

I had not expected that. Most would have faltered by this stage. It only made me want her more.

“Sir, I had to leave the last place. I was bullied over a lot of things, but I believe they were my personal experiences. I was grateful to get a chance to redo life here.”

“Good, good. You have spirit. That is... few and far between. You just need some help.”

“Excuse me, sir?”

“And I can give you that, Ms. Sullivan. I see you.”

She frowned, clearly perplexed by my choice of words.

“Sir, I cannot comprehend what you are trying to tell me.”

I tutted. “But you can. You’re just playing hard to get, Aurora Sullivan. You should know, that just makes me want you more.”

The shock in her eyes tickled me like a feather. That was just what I wanted. More shock. More submission.
