They slipped into Stefano’s office suite, Olympia heading straight over to Xavier who seemed to grow five inches as she closed the space between them. Hailey slid into Stefano’s office and gave him a smile.
“I take it Olympia and Xavier have completely forgotten that we’re here?” Stefano questioned wishing they weren’t quite so wrapped around one another so he would have an excuse to pull her to him, kiss her passionately and sate the tiniest bit of his need.
“Is Saoul scheduled to arrive on time?” she asked slipping her hand over his shoulders knowing if he were that only gave them approximately five minutes before he arrived.
“Yes, Markus let me know that they were pulling up to the block just as you came in,” he answered sliding his hand back into her hair, lifting her lips to him. “It wouldn’t do well for you to appear quite so fresh if we’re to make Saoul believe that we were unaware of what Olympia and Xavier are up to outside my doors as we speak.”
“Necessary evil I suppose,” she said with the tiniest of sighs that had his hands tightening on her waist, pulling her a bit harder into him.
“Yes, you’ll simply have to endure it,” he stated trying to hide the bite in his voice before claiming them in a demanding and nearly punishing kiss.
No woman could rile him the way she could, a simple comment of not wanting to be with him was enough to show her how easily he could make her want him and only him. He backed her up into the wall, letting his hands skim the sides of her breasts and felt her breathe in deeply, forcing himself to stop as he heard a loud voice in the outer office.
“Father!” Olympia said her face flushing as she quickly slipped away from Xavier’s hold while Hailey and Stefano came out of his office.
“Saoul,” Stefano stated moving over to calm the man.
“This is how you take care of my only child? By allowing a man who isnother fiancé to maul her?” Saoul questioned in Greek as Xavier moved over to Olympia’s side, arm’s distance from her father.
“Father, it’s not like that…I love him,” Olympia said changing him over to English after greeting him with a kiss to the cheek.
“What of Demetrius and your engagement?” Saoul questioned looking amongst the group.
“I was besotted and taken in by his charm, but it is not real. Stefano hoped that by coming here he could help us but once he was with his Hailey daily, he knew it would be difficult for us to comfortably marry so quickly.”
“I suggested to Mother that she focus on our wedding,” Stefano said pulling Hailey into his side with a soft kiss to her temple, “rather than Demetrius and Olympia’s to allow them time to determine if it was what they genuinely wanted. I should have informed you of Olympia’s feelings for Xavier, but we did not want to upset you.”
Saoul looked from Stefano, then to his daughter, and finally onto the man holding Olympia so gently, his gaze on her showing the full depth of his feelings for his precious daughter, and he let the burning anger go. “Have you broken the engagement then?”
“Not formally,” Olympia stated as the office door opened, and she tensed spying Demetrius standing there glaring at the scene.
“Well, seems I’m in for surprises today,” Demetrius said putting on a phony smile for Saoul. “Olympia, would you like to explain what’s going on here?”
“In my office, now,” Stefano stated giving Demetrius a long dark look. He pressed a kiss to Hailey’s cheek before walking his brother into the room giving him no choice but to move. “Go on to lunch,pethi mou, take Olympia, Saoul and Xavier with you. I’ll join you once we’re finished.”
“Of course,” she said waiting until the door closed behind them to usher the three from the room. “Mom and Elena are meeting us for lunch also.”
“You knew he was coming, didn’t you?” Olympia asked her quietly as the men let them go first. Hailey didn’t answer simply gave her a reassuring smile that made it clear that she did. “Thank you, I was afraid Stefano had changed his mind.”
“He only does that once per subject and only with enough cajoling. It will be fine, I promise,” Hailey assured her hoping the same could be said for them.

“What is going on here?” Demetrius questioned the moment Stefano shut the door behind them. “What is Saoul here for and what was that punk doing with Olympia?”
“That ‘punk’ has a name, Xavier, and soon he will likely become engaged to Olympia and then married to her. You’re free Demetrius. Thanks to Hailey who did not want to see Olympia suffer further at your hands, I agreed that Olympia deserves someone who will not require coercion to wed her and ensure her happiness.”
“Then it appears I owe Hailey a very large thank you and I know just what she’ll want for it,” Demetrius said with a snickering smile that raised Stefano’s anger to boiling.
“You step one foot towards my Hailey and I will put you in the ground. She is going to be my wife in five short weeks. Touch her, scare her, or eventhinkof trying to hurt her to hurt me and I guarantee you will live to regret it. Stay away from Olympia also, she will be staying on with Mother until she and Xavier decide to marry. She’s quite approving of the match in fact. So, you’re free, get out of my office, out of my company, and out of my life Demetrius. You’ll receive your stipend but nothing else. Do not even try going to Grandfather he won’t help you. Stay away from Greece and the next girl you fool; you’d better hope she doesn’t have someone in her life that will shoot first.”
“There’s no way I can live on what you release from the trust…what the hell am I supposed to do?”
“Find a job like everyone else for spending money, give me your honest word that you’ll stop messing around and I’ll transfer you to the London office. Begin to threaten Hailey and you’ll be out in seconds flat.”
“I get use of the apartment?”
“Within reason, don’t think you’ll be able to sweet-talk Mrs. Norton into going over the monthly budget for you. If Kyra decides to return, then I will raise it to adequately cover both of you. This is your last chance Demetrius, go against me, and you will have no one to run to, no chance at redemption,” Stefano warned knowing his brother wouldn’t listen to him, but he was prepared for whatever he attempted against Hailey.
