That’s what I need to keep in mind, not her dripping pussy.

“I’ve got more stamina than any other person at this firm. If there was a way I could prove it to each and every one of you, I would.”

Her tone, her expression, her everything is innocent, yet her words can be, and are, taken as anything but.

Talk of stamina and Lex proving hers pushes every other thought from my head until all that remains is that same dripping pussy I just tried to forget about as it’s put to the test over and over again by my cock.

Phil doubles over, falling into a nearby chair while choking on his own tongue. Beside him, Kaisin turns away, probably to hide the hard-on I just spotted against my will.

Jesus Christ. Every motherfucker in this room is now sporting wood, even me and Ijustfucking blew my load. It usually takes me a few hours to wanna go again, not minutes, but here I am, fully erect, ready to fuck Lex in front of her husband’s subordinates…and brother.

Mint-green eyes meet mine as I find my own seat, and I duck my head at her.Mission accomplished. She’s got all our balls.

“I, for one, am interested in seeing Lenox’s stamina,” one guy says like Lex isn’t sitting right here, and a chorus of agreement follows.

Kaisin doesn’t argue, just hurries from the room with a mumbled apology.

Lex watches his back before scanning the conference room in his wake. She states rather than asks, “So it’s settled. Business as usual while Kordin recovers from his accident.”

I swallow a scoff. It was no accident. I meant to hurt that son of a bitch.

Without further debate, Lex stands, asking, “Who’s up next?”

Two men push from their chairs the same time Lex takes her own, every visible inch of her skin pebbling with goose bumps as she tunes in to their presentation.

She’s cold. Freezing. I’d offer her my jacket, but she’d probably just ignore it like last time. Or fire me again.

Under the table, Lex’s legs start bouncing. Her top half is completely motionless, but both her legs are bobbing furiously and…anxiously? My mom does the same thing. She tries to say it’s restless leg syndrome but it’s anxiety and it’s only gotten worse since my dad’s suicide.

Other than that small tic, Lex doesn’t seem nervous. She didn’t seem nervous finagling a room full of men either.

She’s always performing.

And if I want to help her, I’m going to have to put on my own performance.

For the rest of the meeting, I avoid looking at her, even when I feel her eyes on me, roaming my body the same way they did in her office.

“Hey, new kid,” I hear behind me and pull up short.Kid?Kaisin might be a couple years older than me, a few at most. It’s just a power move calling me that. Same way these assholes will talk about people right in front of them like they’re invisible.

I fucking hate hollows.

I don’t really like foxes either though.

Kaisin hustles over to me, asking, “How’d it go in there?”

He didn’t return for the rest of the meeting which speaks to how valuable his presence here is. Lex, however, made moves like a fucking boss in the conference room. Whoever thinks this place is better off without her is a dumbass.

Kaisin leans that way.

So does Kordin.

And Phil.

Speaking of, I catch sight of him and Lex coming out of the conference room, together, and narrow my eyes. His hand’s on her again, this time snaking under the curled white hair flowing down her back to rub at her neck.

Lex’s shoulders scrunch together like she’s a fallen angel about to push her wings out from them and unleash absolute hell, but she doesn’t because she isn’t. She’s Lenox, the professional, the wife, the coworker too “nice” to say anything to the loser pawing at her in their workplace for fear of causing problems.

Lexi would probably charge him for that neck massage. Or cut his hand clear off.
