I paused with the fork halfway to my mouth and raised an eyebrow. “He has two brothers, but they live in Scotland. I can inquire about their hotness.”

She shook her head. “Scotland is a bit far. What about the other guys in the band? I still haven’t been invited to any rock star parties. What’s the deal with Ghost? He’s reportedly single, and he’s very hot.”

I took a sip of water as I contemplated how much to tell Celia. “Ghost is a mystery. He’s a great guy, but I don’t know him all that well. I try to act normal when he’s around, but I’m actually a bit star-struck by him.”

She took a bite of her lunch and waved her fork at me. “I don’t blame you, girlfriend. He’s next level.”

“Speaking of Ghost,” I said, trying to change the subject, “Knox’s 30thbirthday is coming up, right before he leaves for the tour. I’m throwing him a surprise party this weekend. I’ve been secretly texting with Ghost to coordinate everything without Knox finding out.”

“Oooh, that sounds amazing!” Celia exclaimed. “He’s going to love it!”

“Thanks,” I smiled, feeling a warm glow at the thought of making Knox happy. “I just want to show him how much I care before he leaves.”

“Summer, you’re doing something wonderful for him,” Celia reassured me as she pushed her empty plate aside. “He’s going to love it. Trust me. And more importantly, trust in your relationship with Knox. Don’t let your fears overshadow the love you share. You can handle whatever challenges come your way.”

“Thank you, Celia.” I really appreciated having a friend who cared about me. “I needed to hear that.”

“Anytime, girl,” she responded with a warm smile. “That’s what friends are for, right?”

“Right,” I agreed, feeling more optimistic about my relationship with Knox.

As our lunch break came to an end, we stood up and embraced each other tightly, both feeling grateful for the support and friendship we provided one another.

“Come on, let’s get back to work,” Celia suggested, giving me one last reassuring squeeze before releasing me from her embrace.

“Sounds good,” I agreed, my heart lighter and my resolve stronger than ever.

Not too long after I got home from work, I heard the familiar sound of keys jingling outside the door. Knox walked in, carrying his guitar, an exhausted yet satisfied grin on his handsome face.

“Hey Sunshine,” he greeted me, leaning down to press a soft kiss on my lips. “How was your day?”

“Busy,” I admitted, a small smile playing on my lips as I wrapped my arms around his waist. “But better now that you’re here.”

“Same here,” he agreed, his eyes sparkling with genuine affection. “I missed you.”

“Missed you too,” I replied, my heart swelling with love for this man.

We decided to have a cozy dinner at home, just the two of us. The dimly lit room, the flickering candles, and the soft music playing in the background created a peaceful atmosphere that allowed us to focus on each other and forget about the outside world for a while.

Over plates of steaming pasta, we shared the details of our day, laughing at silly anecdotes and discussing what our friends were up to. Everything felt so perfect; I didn’t even want to think about the challenges ahead.

As the evening progressed, I couldn’t help but notice how Knox’s presence had transformed my small apartment into a warm and welcoming haven. Even though our living space was cramped with his belongings now occupying every available nook and cranny, I found comfort in having him so close to me. The intimacy of sharing our lives like this only strengthened our bond and made me feel more connected to him than ever before.

“Hey,” he murmured, pulling me out of my thoughts as we settled onto the couch after dinner. “You okay?”

I smiled at him, nodding in response. “Yeah, just thinking about how lucky I am to have you here with me.”

Knox leaned over, planting a soft kiss on my lips. “The feeling is mutual, beautiful.”

Our eyes locked, and the intensity between us became palpable. I could see the raw passion in Knox’s eyes, the hunger for closeness and connection, and it ignited a fire inside me that demanded satisfaction.

“I need you inside me,” I whispered, my voice barely audible as I reached for the hem of his shirt and lifted it over his head.

He didn’t need any further encouragement. In one swift motion, he scooped me up into his arms and carried me to the bedroom, his strong grip making me feel safe and secure. With each step, our anticipation grew, our hearts pounding in unison as we prepared to surrender ourselves completely to one another.

Once we reached the bed, our lips met again in a searing, desperate kiss, our hands exploring every inch of each other’s bodies as if trying to memorize the contours and textures. There was something almost primal about the way Knox touched me, his raw masculinity radiating from every pore as he claimed me as his own.

I reveled in the exquisite pleasure of our bodies joining, the way we fit together so perfectly as one. It was a dance of passion and desire, a symphony of sighs and moans that filled the room with an electric energy. Our intertwined bodies moved in a wild and wanton rhythm of pleasurable exploration. His hands passionately explored my most intimate places, as if he knew them better than I did myself until I was writhing underneath him.
