“You could say that. Although many of those rumors tend to be false,” I answer with facts and lean back in my chair.

“How about this newest development with Ocean Heart, any comments?”

My teeth clench together. “Ocean is a genuine person and she’s amazingly talented. I wouldn’t put much into what is being said.”

The reporter nods her head.“How about you and Jade? Any wedding news yet?”

“Things are good, thanks for asking.” I quickly cut it off and I can feel Jade’s glare through the camera.

“Good? Are there wedding bells in the horizon still? One of our sources said you two eloped and the wedding happened already?”

I smirk at the poor woman before glancing at the camera. “Well, if the media says it, then it must be true.”

Epilogue II

Jade

The HEA

Time stops.

The world quits spinning.

Everything in my body becomes hyperaware of him.

My heart beats wildly against my rib cage.

Life feels caught between day and night, stars expand behind his head. He’s the man who loves me, protects me, roots for me. There is a tug in my soul that feels as if we’ve been tied together by fate for lifetimes. As I walk down the aisle made of sand, surrounded by my chosen family and my aunt, his eyes flash with the same recognition. We both know it. We feel it. I’m so glad I let him chase me. That he had the opportunity to show me he has always been faithful to the rhythm that binds us.

We exchange rings.

He kisses my lips until I’m breathless under a dusky sky, with the waves crashing in the background. Our small crowd claps and cheers for our happily ever after. Onyx Kiddrick is my husband.

We eloped. Aruba was calling and Onyx was wasting no more time. Mia helped us schedule a brief gap in the schedule. Two days, two nights, then we needed to hit the last leg of the tour hard. Ocean bought carts full of dresses until I found one I liked, without being too conspicuous. It’s perfect. It’s magical. It’s fated.

“I’m ready to sweep you away now.” He groans into my ear and I shake my head laughing.

“Everyone is still eating.” I push at his side.

“Wife.”

“Don’t even.” I laugh at him and the almost pout his lips are making.

“I just want to show my wife how much I love her,” he responds and my thighs clench. His words have been doing that to me more often lately, just a look from him and I’m naked and spread out for him.

“Onyx.” His name escapes my lips. His pupils dilate and his hand runs higher up my leg, the skirt bunching with it.

“They’re dancing.” He grabs my hand and we sneak out the back side of the patio and into the house. His lips are on mine instantly and I melt for him. My hands push and pull at his shirt, searching for the warm skin underneath.

“I want to bury myself in you for the rest of the night.” Onyx kisses over my neck and down my chest, his hands searching for a zipper at my back. I arch a little for him, making it easier and the material slides to my feet.

“I must be the luckiest man alive. I know I am.” His eyes trail over my body and the white pieces of lace I picked out for this vacation. My arms wrap around his neck and he lifts my body against his. Our mouths fuse, and I kiss him like it’s the last time. Like he’s air and all I need to survive.

My back hits the mattress and he’s hovering over me. His brown eyes are dark as coal, and his red lips are swollen. I watch while he removes his tie, his shirt, and his pants. His cock is freed and he’s climbing over me, bracing his body weight on his arms. His mouth licks a trail from my neck down to my breastbone and back up again. My hands land on his shoulders, gripping tightly. Onyx hums his approval. My legs fall apart, urging him to fill the space.

“Tell me what you want.”

I gasp when he drags the head of his cock through my folds, spreading moisture over the tip. “You know what I want.”
