I took my time slipping it over my head and letting it slide down my body, knowing I had his complete attention.

His gaze lifted from my body to meet my eyes. “Keep it on. I like it on you.”

Then, he turned and headed for his closet. I followed him into the bedroom part of his rooms and went to his massive bed. While he got dressed, I crawled onto his bed and buried my face in the pillow, smelling him. I was probably going to have to get myself off in here once he was gone.

“Damn,” he swore, and I looked over at him pulling on his jeans while looking at me. “Please be right there when I get back.”

I nodded and watched him finish getting dressed. His gaze kept shifting back to me. The hungry gleam in his eyes only made me ache more. Rubbing my thighs together, I shifted, pulling the covers down from underneath me, then tugged them up over me. Trev’s scent was strong now. I held the covers to my nose and inhaled.

“Are you smelling my sheets?” he asked me.

“Mmhmm,” I replied.

He ran a hand through his hair and stalked over to me. I looked up at him as he stared down at me.

“You need to rest because when I get back, I’m fucking you all night.”

“Promise?” I asked.

A wicked grin curled his lips, and he ran the back of his finger over my cheek. “Yes, I promise.”

There’s a dark side to everything.

Trev

“That was longer than fifteen minutes,” Gage barked at me when I walked into the house he shared with Levi and Huck.

It had once been my brother’s, but he’d moved Maddy into a house on Hughes land. Huck’s fiancée also lived here, and Gage’s girlfriend was now living here too. It was a high security setup, but the security here was more obvious than that at the farm. Dad’s security was more intense, but it was hidden better. He didn’t like his home to feel like a place for our operations.

I closed the office door behind me and looked around the room. Levi and Kye were here.

“Where’s Huck?” I asked Gage.

“In Paris.”

I nodded. Should have thought about that. Dad had taken Huck as security.

“You said on the phone that I interrupted you fucking,” Gage said, leaning back as he studied me.

He’d actually asked me, “What am I interrupting, a hot fuck?” and I’d said, “As a matter of fact, yes.”

“Sax is on his way but had to run home from your house to get changed. I asked him where you were, and he said, ‘Upstairs with Gypsi.’ That’s Fawn’s daughter, right?”

“Yeah,” I replied, annoyed that Sax had told Gage shit.

Gage chuckled. “You remind me of Blaise when he was younger. He won’t admit it, but he let Gina suck his cock back in the day. Having a hot piece of ass as a stepsister has its perks.”

I didn’t like him talking like Gypsi as if she were a fucktoy. “It’s not the same.”

Gage raised his eyebrows. “Don’t tell me you got feelings.”

I scowled at him, not caring that Gage was the craziest son of a bitch I’d ever met. “We’re friends. I respect her.”

“But you also fuck her,” he added.

My hands fisted at my sides.

Levi laughed. “Leave him alone. You’ve got him worked up enough. We have shit to do.”

Gage continued to smirk as he glanced over at Levi. “Fine. You’re right. Sax will be here soon, but he’s not ready to do more than watch and learn.”

“Someone’s been trying to get on the ranch at night. It’s happened twice now. Both times, Six was on duty. When the guy saw him, he took off.”

“On foot?” Kye asked.

Gage shook his head. “He’s on a Harley. Nice one. Six didn’t see any cuts on his leathers. We don’t think it’s an MC. But we also haven’t been able to get close enough to take him. The only common denominator between the two nights is, Fawn and Gypsi were there.” Gage locked his gaze on me. “Do you know any connection those two have to MCs or gangs?”

I shook my head. “No.”

Gage nodded. “Garrett doesn’t want us asking either of them. He said it would upset Fawn, and he won’t allow that. But if someone is trying to get to them, he wants them caught, questioned, and killed only after he speaks to him. The one thing that makes it unlikely that he’s after the women is that they were at their trailer all week and were fine. That could be because Garrett had Bart placed as their security. His being outside would have kept anyone away.”

“He’s done this twice?” I asked. “Six couldn’t have been more prepared the second time?”

Gage shrugged. “First time, he thought it was a fluke. Some biker had gotten lost. It wasn’t until this next time that we got concerned. If they show up again, he’s been ordered to take the shot. But not a kill shot.”
