“Congratulations,” Asmo says, locking his hands behind his back as he bows. “Mr. and Mrs. Morningstar. If you’re done consummating things, we have matters that are rather pressing. Who was your witness? We’ll need them today when we meet with the court to confirm your marriage.
“Witness…” I turn, glancing at Kai.
“Yes, the person whowitnessedthe consummation,” Asmo says, his temper running shorter than normal.
