The door to my room opens as the twins finally arrive, taking tentative steps toward the bed.
“Hey, guys. Ready to meet your little sister?” I ask.
They nod, moving closer.
“She’s so pretty,” Madison breathes, staring wide-eyed.
“She is,” Xander agrees. “Did the two of you finally decide on a name?”
We both agreed that it would be sweet to let the twins name her.
Mason shakes his head. “We didn’t,” he admits. “But then we decided to share.”
“Her first name will be Hannah,” Madison starts.
“And her middle name will be Simone,” her brother completes.
“Hannah Simone Callahan,” I breathe.
“That’s perfect,” Xander says, his voice hoarse with emotion.
It really is. I can’t believe I got lucky enough to find myself in such a perfect family.
“I love you,” I mouth at Xander.
“Always,” he says back.
