“It’s not like I’ve been able to tell you about the baby. You wouldn’t take my calls, my letters,” Sully said while throwing up his hands.

Jack took a step closer and growled, “And did you ever stop to think that just maybe there was a reason for that?”

“You’re a self-centered asshole?” Sully said dryly.

Jack slammed his hands against Sully’s chest sending the man back a step.

“I’m self-centered?” Jack gritted his teeth. “Fuck you. Everything I’ve ever done has been for you.”

“You haven’t even asked about the baby.”

“You say that like you actually want me in that baby’s life. Newsflash, all your actions say otherwise.”

Before they could escalate to violence, Zero walked closer saying, “Maybe you should continue this conversation some other time. When you’re not drunk. Or this angry.”

Jack snapped his gaze up while Sully whirled around.

“This is none of your business,” Sully snapped.

It was the first time he’d ever seen Sully mad. The guy didn’t even lose it when Jet went too far with the pranks. He just laughed it off.

He wasn’t laughing now.

“He just got out, Sully. Give him a minute,” Zero said.

Sully growled under his breath and threw his hands up. He turned and stalked away while Jack glared at his back until he disappeared. Then he turned that glare at Zero and stepped closer.

“You need to mind your own fucking business,” Jack hissed.

“You’re welcome.”

“Stop trying to save me,” Jack yelled and pushed Zero against the wall.

Why that turned him on so much, he was going to pretend he didn’t know.

Jack

His brother had him fuming. Zero seeing and hearing them argue didn’t make it any better. He didn’t know how long Zero had been there, how much he’d heard, but he knew it was enough.

He had the man pushed against a wall and all he saw in those blue eyes was hunger.

He ran his gaze over Zero, contemplating his options.

Maybe Zero was trying to play him, but what would be the fucking point? Everybody already knew about him at the club. They accepted him and not only that, but they’d fuck up anyone who disrespected him because of it.

If Zero was so fucking willing, why the fuck not? All the frustrations, all the anger, he could take that out on Zero, and something told him Zero would even like it. So why shouldn’t he enjoy himself?

He leaned close, putting his lips next to Zero’s ear. “You’d do anything, right?”

He heard Zero’s breath catch and smiled for a second, then moved back.

“On your knees.”

Zero slid down the wall until his knees hit the floor. Jack rested his hands against the wall, boxing Zero in. Zero looked up at him, holding his gaze as he reached for Jack’s pants.

He watched as Zero freed his hardening length, the light brush of his fingers causing a shiver to rock through his body. Zero licked his lips before he ran his tongue over the head. Jack hissed, the touch almost scalding it was that hot. Fuck. He hadn’t been touched by anyone in over a year.

It was going to be over way too soon.
