He got off his bike and walked toward the open garage doors. His steps faltered when he noticed a part of the building that hadn’t been there before. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he recalled a quick mention of an expansion during one of the phone calls with his brother. It had been within the first few months of his sentence, and he’d completely forgotten about it. He hated how much had changed. He hated that he hadn’t been there.

He headed inside and wasn’t surprised to see Jet and Walker there. They were standing in front of Walker’s bay, Jet running his fingers down Walker’s chest. He couldn’t see Jet’s face, but he wished he couldn’t see Walker’s either.

It made him glad he’d chosen to stay with Zero instead of those two.

He cleared his throat, which had Jet glancing over his shoulder at him, a playful smile on his lips.

“Hey, guys. Len around?”

“Office,” Jet said before turning back to Walker.

Walker said something under his breath that had Jet chuckling and Jack taking off down the hall. When he reached the office, he found the door open so he knocked on the doorframe before stepping inside.

Nash and Lennox were both behind the desk, Nash sitting and Len standing behind him while pointing at something on Nash’s screen. She looked up, a twinkle in her eyes when she saw him.

He shared a smile with Nash, then turned to Len.

“Hey.”

“Hey, you,” Len said.

“You got a sec?”

Len nodded and stepped around the desk, then followed Jack into the hallway. They stood there looking at each other, Len with her brows raised while he shuffled his feet.

“You wouldn’t happen to have any jobs available, would you?”

He hated having to work with Sully, but he’d endure it. Getting his old job back would go a long way toward King accepting him back in the club.

Len rolled her eyes.

“Like you even have to ask. You’ll always have a job here, sweetie.”

“Thank you,” he said, a sigh of relief escaping him.

He wrapped her up in a hug, then lifted her off the ground and squeezed harder, making her laugh.

He put her down and planted a kiss on her cheek. “Thank you. Thank you.”

“Your coveralls are where you left them.”

He hugged her once more before he walked back down the hall. When he stepped into the garage he came to a sharp halt, grinding his teeth when he saw Zero talking to Sully.

They were standing close, talking so low he couldn’t hear anything, but he didn’t like the look on Zero’s face.

Zero

He parked in front of the auto shop just as Sully walked inside. He pulled off his helmet and dismounted, then took off after Sully.

“Hey, Sul? You got a moment?”

Sully was barely two steps inside and when he turned, his smile morphed into a glower when he saw Zero.

“If you’re seriously trying to get between us—”

“Between?” He shook his head and stepped closer. “I’m trying to help you. Both of you.”

“Well, don’t,” Sully snapped.
