Jack rubbed his hand over the bulge in his jeans and knowing the man was that turned on by giving him head had him groaning as his hips stuttered.

The delicious heat around his cock and the adrenaline still pumping through his system had him nearing that edge too soon but he didn’t care. He didn’t hold back because he knew Jack wouldn’t want him to.

He came down Jack’s throat and when he swallowed around him, he may very well have whimpered. From the dirty look Jack gave him, he was pretty sure that’s exactly what he did.

He leaned back against the wall, gasping for breath as he came down from his orgasm.

He barely noticed when Jack pulled his jeans back up. He left them open and he couldn’t care less. If anyone saw them right now, they would simply come to the right conclusion: Jack owned him. Body and soul.

Jack stood and pressed close, his mouth on Zero’s. The kiss was soft and unhurried, and he loved every second of those lips against his.

“Your turn?”

“Getting you off got me there, too,” Jack said, looking way too smug for someone who’d just come in his pants.

He shook his head, a smile playing on his lips.

“We gonna do this?” Jack asked.

He arched a brow at him. “If that’s your way of asking me to be your boyfriend, then the answer is yes.”

Jack’s easy laugh was like music to his ears.

Jack

By the time they walked downstairs, the clubhouse was filled with their brothers and sisters. Nash and Em were there as well and when Nash saw him, his eyes turned watery. He guessed that was because King had filled everyone in on the whole taking-the-blame-for-Helena thing.

When he stepped off the stairs, Nash was there, and the hug he gave him had his throat closing up.

“She’s gonna be okay,” Nash said.

“Thank you.”

He knew Nash would take good care of her until they could get her into a program. There was no one he trusted more with her. Except Zero.

He glanced around at the people he considered family and all he saw were happy faces and understanding in their eyes.

“We all knew you were dumb but, hey, at least you’re loyal,” Stiletto said with a shrug and raised her beer toward him.

He flipped her off with a laugh.

He couldn’t argue against that because she wasn’t exactly wrong.

The door opened and Ash stepped inside, followed by Sully. He was smiling so hard it started to hurt. It didn’t make him stop.

Ash walked straight into his open arms and when her stomach got in the way, they both laughed. Sully had kept her at a safe house for the past week, not willing to take any chances after that bomb in her car.

A loud whistle had everyone quieting down and turning toward the bar where King was standing.

“As you all know,” King said, his voice loud in the silence. “A lot of shit has happened. Jack fucked up, but so did I. I thought Jack didn’t trust us. That he didn’t trust me.”

His heart was hammering in his chest, and he had a lump in his throat. He knew there’d be huge sweat stains under his arms very soon.

A hand slid into his and he instantly settled. He didn’t even have to look at Zero. His presence was enough. The man was his rock. His safe space.

“But I’ve realized that Jack was only trying to protect someone,” King said and caught Jack’s gaze. “Helena, but also all of us.”

King turned and reached over the bar for something Joker handed him. When he had it, he folded it out and held it up.
