His hands drifted down to cup my breasts through my bra, thumbs teasing my nipples into stiff peaks. I gasped, arousal burning through my veins. When Greyson’s fingers slipped under my waistband, dipping lower, I couldn’t stop the moan that escaped my lips.

Maybe an evening of relaxation was just what I needed after all.

I writhed against Greyson — my breaths came faster as his fingers explored my most intimate places. Every nerve in my body was alight with pleasure, the tension draining from my muscles.

“That’s it, baby,” he soothed. “Just relax and feel.”

He pinched my nipples, rolling them between his fingers until I cried out. I was soaked, aching for more, and when his fingers plunged deep inside me, I shouted his name.

“You’re always so responsive,” Greyson said, nipping at my ear. “It drives me crazy, the way you come apart for me.”

“Mmmm. You drive me crazy,” I gasped, grinding against his hand. He knew exactly how to play my body, bringing me to the edge again and again. I was floating, lost in a haze of desire, caring about nothing but Greyson’s touch.

When he finally let me tumble over the brink, the force of my orgasm left me breathless. I collapsed against him, spent and sated, a contented smile curving my lips.

Greyson kissed the top of my head, his embrace warm and comforting. “Better now?”

“Mmm, much.” I tilted my head up, meeting his gaze. “Thank you for always knowing exactly what I need.”

“You’re welcome.” He smiled, tucking a stray lock of hair behind my ear. “But we’re not done yet. The night is still young, and I’m nowhere near finished with you.”

A delicious shiver ran down my spine at the promise in his eyes. Perhaps relaxation could wait, after all. Some things were worth the sacrifice.

Hours later, I lay in Greyson’s bed, satisfied and exhausted. We had explored every inch of each other, bodies entwined in a passionate embrace that left no doubt as to the intensity of our feelings for one another. I’d needed to reconnect with him, especially after spending so much time with Ghost.

“Stay with me tonight.” He ran a hand up and down my side. “It’s late, and you need sleep. I’ll have a driver bring you to work in the morning so you don’t have to hassle with the commute. Please, Rems. I haven’t spent the night with you since the tour.”

“When we were with Ghost.” It popped out of my mouth before I thought any better of saying it.

The room was quiet for too long. I turned on my side to face him. “We haven’t talked about him much.”

Grey let out a heavy exhale of breath. “Ghost hasn’t reached out to me at all, Rems. I’m afraid that all along he was only interested in you.”

“There was definitely something between you two. I saw it.” I rubbed his chest. “Ghost and I got really close on the tour, but now that I’m gone, I think he’s pushing me away. He hasn’t reached out to me either.”

“Did you ever talk about the three of us? About a relationship?” Grey’s voice wavered.

Ghost never spoke about Greyson, but I’d witnessed their intense passion for each other. I didn’t know whether Ghost would ever be able to overcome the pain of his past and accept a man into his life. He’d confided in me about the sexual abuse he’d endured and that was a trauma that wounded so deeply. I would never betray his trust, yet I wished I could warn Greyson that Ghost may never be able to give him the love he desired.

I answered Greyson carefully. “I was pretty clear with him about what I wanted. What we both wanted. But Ghost never committed to anything. He’s still ... working through issues.”

Grey sighed. “Okay. I get that,” he said with a hint of resignation.

“Maybe you should reach out to him? As a friend?” I suggested.

He thought for a moment before pulling me flush against his hard body. “I need to see him again. When is his tour over?”

“Six more weeks,” I answered.

Grey’s eyes lit up as an idea came to him. “I can throw a party and invite him — the whole band, of course. If he doesn’t come, then I’ll know that I’m just deluding myself.”

I snuggled closer to him. “Yes, that’s a good idea. And in the meantime, you could talk or text with him occasionally. That wouldn’t be intimidating if you kept it friendly. Let him get to know you, Greyson.”

We settled into a comfortable silence, each with our own thoughts. I couldn’t help but remain worried about the dynamics between the enigmatic rock star who had captured my heart and my Hollywood celebrity boyfriend who had loved him from the shadows for years. The complicated triangle between us was difficult to navigate with our tangled pasts and a society that wasn’t always accepting of unconventional relationships.

Despite my worries, I quickly drifted off to sleep and woke up facing a long day of playing catch up at work.

By six o’clock, most of my co-workers had already gone for the day. As the newsroom emptied out, the hectic buzz of energy in the room mellowed. I stood up from my chair and stretched, and then went to the staff kitchen to retrieve the turkey sandwich I’d brought for my dinner.
