Doomed.

I gave up. Roqs was always better than me in diplomacy. I was too tiredand satedfor this shit. And with that, I laid my head on the floor and passed out. Nim’s cock still warm and jerking cum inside me.

CHAPTER12

Interlude Aftermath

Brynn

“Did you kill him?” I accused the ogre behind Coone’s back. I bit my lip. Is Coone okay? Discreetly, I closed my legs and tried to slide down towards the water and succeeded.

“Brynn, wait,” Roqs sighed. He and that other guy had to detangle themselves. I wade deeper into the water though the deepest I could tell was only three feet. Of course. Manasties can’t swim.

When I thought I was in a safe distance, I turned back and saw Nim gently washing Coone’s body. He was really passed out. I saw the dark circles under his eyes earlier. I was aware it was worry over me.

Still, I should not had been surprised they would spring this impromptu group sex, less than an hour after they found me.

Roqs cautiously approached me. When he neared me, he lightly ran his skin on my nicks and bruises. I gasped. They don’t hurt anymore.

“Magic come?” I asked dumbly.

Silence.

Then all of them laughed. Deep belly laughs even the grumpy twins at his back. I heard Coone snorted. So, he was awake now that I embarrassed myself again.

“These bathing pools have healing salts,” Roqs explained. His cheeks were a bit red. He found me amusing. He cupped my left cheek. “Zirc would have wanted me to protect you, Brynn. No one is going to harm you. Even these double royal pains behind my back.” He pointed a thumb over his shoulder.

“Where is Zirc? Why is he not here?” I tried to take away the pain from my voice but Roqs heard it. He dragged me towards his body and I hugged him.

“It wasn’t easy for Zirc to complete his mission while you were missing and in danger,” Roqs said as he soothed my hair. “He had to see the Elders because it is very important not only to the Elders, but to the whole planet.”

“The relic,” I gasped out loud, moved slightly away from him to see his face. “They were talking about Zirc and the relic.”

“They?” Roqs’ brows knitted.

“The people who rescued me said they were waiting for Zirc to hand over the relic to the Elders I thought it was a secret mission? How come everyone knew about it?”

“It was,” Roqs confirmed. “Our enemies have ears so we should not be surprised. The earlier he can hand over the relic to the Elders, the earlier he can get back to us.”

Us.

That was true.

“But first, sleep. We leave before dawn tomorrow. No,” Roqs said when I started to protest. I wanted to leave now. I was satisfied I got the chance to be with him and Coone. I can’t explain this urgent need inside me to be with Zirc. “I know, little one,” Roqs cupped my face. “You and me both.”

“And me,” Coone piped up. I guess I was an open book about my need for Zirc. I sighed loudly and detangled myself from Roqs. When I looked up, there was only Coone who was holding a robe towards me.

“They left now that they got what they want from us,” Coone smiled playfully.

Roqs snorted. “You wished. If we don’t have to leave tomorrow, I’m sure we’ll be here all night with them. Come Brynn, let’s get you settled so you can rest.”

We all donned our robe and went to the high rise bed. I would have liked to explore this room that looked like a suite in a five-star hotel. I let out a huge yawn.

Coone scooped me up as he jumped and laid me between him and Roqs. A few soft kisses, then I found myself closing my eyes. I heard him and Roqs talking over my head in whispers. Like they were singing me a lullaby.

“Shh, it’s alright Brynn,” Coone rained kisses on my face.

I gasped. “I killed him,” I wailed.
