He wiped my mouth and then my pussy. The act was oddly comforting.

All three of us lay down on the bed, naked, with me sandwiched between the two of them.

“That was perfect,” I sighed.

“It was,” Bodhi replied.

My cheeks warmed as I realized I had spoken my thoughts aloud, and I grabbed a pillow to cover my face.

Bodhi removed the pillow from my face. “Don’t be embarrassed. You’re a fucking goddess, Zo.”

The sentiment took me aback, making my heart swell, and for a moment, I was speechless. “So, what now?” I asked.

“Round two,” Liam said just before he kissed me.

CHAPTER7

Mason

After two days in a row of skiing, I spent the day at the house with the guys and Zoey. I had some work to get done, so I spent part of the day in my room. But I was on vacation, so I didn’t want to spend too many hours staring at a screen.

At one point, we all ran to the local Christmas tree farm and picked out a tree that Zoey wanted to decorate. Then we made a run into town to get the ingredients for the dinner that I’d promised to make Zoey.

Hopefully, dinner would be a success. I wanted to impress her because I liked her, as much as I didn’t want that to be true. But I’d never admit that out loud.

I leaned against the kitchen counter, nursing a beer, watching the way Liam leaned a bit too close to Zoey as he whispered something to her, causing her to burst into a fit of giggles. Bodhi wasn’t far behind, his hand brushing the small of her back as he passed her some sort of spiced rum concoction.

My eyes narrowed slightly. Since when had they become so... close?

Zoey walked over with her drink and clinked my beer bottle before leaning against the counter beside me.

“Thank you so much for making dinner tonight,” she said. “I’m starving.”

“I owe you for helping me out the other night with that marketing project,” I reminded her.

“How are my designs performing?” She leaned in closer to me, the familiar citrusy sweet scent permeating my senses.

My body reacted to her the way it always did—my dick halfway hard in my pants and my heart rate picking up.

“The campaign just launched Monday morning, and since it’s only Tuesday night, we don’t have a lot of data yet. But our click-throughs have increased, and the agency said the initial results indicate that the campaign will likely perform well.”

“Glad to hear it.” She nudged my shoulder with her own. “So, are you making a culinary masterpiece tonight?”

I smirked, still distracted by her. “Oh, it’ll be a masterpiece, all right. Just might be an abstract one.”

Zoey laughed. And not just a polite laugh, a full belly laugh erupted from deep within her. The joke wasn’t even that witty, but my heart swelled that I was the cause of her genuine amusement.

“Speaking of which, I better get back to it.” With that, I turned my attention to the food preparations, hoping that focusing on cooking would distract me from her intoxicating effect on me.

I had chosen a complicated recipe, and as I looked down at the instructions, regret washed over me. But a promise was a promise, and I had told Zoey I’d make her dinner.

The first sign that things weren’t going as planned was when I added wine to the pan and flames shot up in an impressive, albeit terrifying, display.

Bodhi jumped back, almost tripping over himself. “Mason! What are you trying to do? Burn down the cabin?”

“It’s called flambéing!” I defended, though I wasn’t entirely sure if that was the intended outcome.

“Typically, that’s done when the dish is cooked. You don’t just flambé an empty pan,” Bodhi informed me.
