"I love you too, Johnny," I say, beaming with happiness.
For a moment, we stand there in each other's arms, basking in the warmth of our love and the joy of our future. It feels like this is all happening so fast...but it occurs to me as we stand there that we've known each other for months now.
That he's been in my family's lives for ages.
That we were meant to be.
As we make our way to our honeymoon suite, Johnny keeps looking at me with the biggest grin on his face, occasionally rubbing my stomach tenderly. There's barely anything there yet--not even a sign--but we can feel the love growing between us.
