We kept playing until we were in our underwear. Bryce quickly set up a new game, and it didn’t take long until we were both naked in Bryce’s living room, shrouded in the darkness of the afternoon.

“You’re good,” he conceded. I laughed in response.

“Well, it’s possible I failed to mention that I played for my high school team. So, I’m letting you off easy.”

Bryce barked out a laugh and then took another one of my pieces.

“Wait, no, I wasn’t ready.”

He laughed mercilessly.

“Too late. It’s dare time.”

Bryce’s eyes skimmed my body, lingering at my breasts, muscles in his neck working from a gulp.

“I dare you to touch yourself. While I watch.”

“Oh, we’re just going for the gold, huh? No warm-ups?”

Bryce’s eyes were dark, and he just shook his head.

I rose on my knees and spread them wider on the carpet, so he’d be able to see the whole show above the low table. I figured I might as well give him a show he’d never forget.

First, I played with my nipples, rolling them between my thumb and index finger before slipping one hand down my skin to my wet pussy.

“Fuck,” Bryce murmured under his breath as I skimmed one finger gently between my thighs.

“Can you touch your clit, I want to see how wet you are,” he instructed as his eyes grew darker and darker. I began to rub my clit, eyes locked on his as he reached down and started to stroke himself.

I couldn’t help the moan that escaped from my throat.

“Put two fingers in. You’re wet enough.”

I followed his instruction and inserted two fingers inside my warm and wet pussy, drawing them in and out as I moaned softly. My breathing became faster as I felt his gaze heating up. He started to squeeze and tug on himself while watching me intently, and soon he was moaning loudly with pleasure, ready to climax. As my orgasm flooded through me, so did Bryce’s own release, causing us both to scream out in ecstasy.

My cheeks were burning red and my heart was pounding with excitement; this experience felt both naughty and empowering at the same time.

“Fuck, that was amazing,” he said as he reached for a tissue to clean himself up.

“How about I take over now?” he asked as he moved closer to me, gently pushing me down toward the rug on the floor and burying his face between my thighs. I lost all track of time and my existence as he took his time, making me fall violently over the edge. He got up onto his knees. I could only describe the look in his eyes as wanting, glorious wanting. He fell onto his arms on either side of me, pushed my legs up with his knees and pushed inside of me with a relentlessness that made my eyes roll to the back of my head. From the sound of his raspy gruffness, he was losing himself as much as I was losing my mind.

This weekend at his cabin was something out of a fantasy. I wanted it to last forever, but I knew that it would too soon come to an end.

Chapter 14

Bryce

Reyna’slaughfloatedaroundme and through me as we sat on the rooftop of the Pyramid and sipped a glass of champagne. She wore sunglasses to shield her eyes from the bright sunshine that surrounded us.

It had been almost a week since I last saw her, dropping her off at home after an amazing weekend in the cabin. We had grown closer when we were there and I knew I was in very serious danger of developing very real feelings for her. I knew how to keep my distance from women, though, and I was an expert at creating those walls.

We hadn’t talked any more about her position at Raven since that morning in my kitchen, and I was anxious about bringing it up. But we were going to meet my mother here for lunch and I was hoping Reyna would be excited to work with her.

I had something else to talk about, but I wasn’t sure she was going to like it. We’d kept the fake engagement as low-key but as public as we could. My social media accounts were getting good engagement, the magazine article was live on the website and was getting clicks. We were seen around town together often enough, and we’d slipped a few photos to the local media. The board was starting to chill the fuck out about my so-called reputation.

But we did get spotted dropping off Reyna at her condo, which may have looked suspicious.

“I think you should move in with me,” I blurted out. I meant to set that up a little better. “You know, just until this is all over.”
