Page 19 of Hazing Her

The four of us share a look before Ashton speaks, “New girl, now?”

“From what I understand, they shut down a bunch of online classes. Those students had a choice of moving to campus or losing credit on classes. Kinda sucks for them, good for us.”

Gage continues speaking to us as he watches the ass of a girl walking past us.

“I don’t have any details on her, smoking hot blonde, though. She came in yesterday. There were several people that picked up keys.”

My skin prickles. Gage speaks again; this time, his words send a chill up my spine.

“Wait until you get a glimpse of Kennedy. You won’t be disappointed. She wasn’t overly friendly, though.”

The guys tense. Immediately, their heads are on a swivel, looking at any blonde walking by. Gage starts to walk away when I grab his shoulder, halting his steps. He turns to look at me, confusion on his face.

“What did you say her name is?”

“Kennedy… Kennedy Boden, why?” Gage asks in confusion as he looks between the four of us.

Ignoring Gage’s question and turning to face my friends, I lower my voice to almost a whisper. “Kennedy isn’t that common of a name. What are the odds that it’s her?”

We all know theherin question. Not giving the guys a chance to respond, I speak again. “I will have to see what my father can find out.”

Callum is the first to speak up, “What are you thinking?”

Smirking, I answer, “If this is the Kennedy we think it is, we will make a plan. First, we need confirmation. Assuming itisher, boys, we get to know our potentialwifeand have some fun hazing her in the process.”

CHAPTERFIFTEEN

Iam sitting outside of the dean’s office. Being early became a priority since the reason for this meeting is a mystery. His secretary looks down her nose at me on occasion. The last thing I wanted to do was be late, making an instant bad impression.

My poor fingernails are taking a beating, though. It’s the only outward sign of my nerves.

Fifteen minutes go by when an imposing-looking man walks in. He is dressed in a silver-gray suit, black shirt, and dark green tie. He reminds me of my father. His dark, dark hair and thick, dark-framed glasses complete his intimidating look.

“Kennedy Boden?” His tone is terse and condescending at the same time.

“Yes, sir,” I respond timidly.

“Well, come on, let’s get this over with.”

Stalking into his office without another word, I jump to my feet and follow him inside.

Stepping behind the imposing desk and indicating an empty chair, he speaks.

“Have a seat, Ms. Boden.”

I do as instructed—the man’s tone brooking no argument. After taking a seat himself, the Dean folds his hands together, resting on top of the desk.

“Let me cut to the chase, Ms. Boden. I did some research on your background. You get one chance here at Groveton College. Understanding that what happened over the summer was not your fault. You are not to blame for the actions of your father. Be warned, if your presence on campus disrupts the other students, I will not hesitate to have you removed. Do you understand me?”

Swallowing hard, my response is quick, not wanting to get on his bad side. “Yes, sir.” This man is more intimidating than my father, something I never thought possible.

“Good, get out of my office,” he grinds out, dismissing me.

Not hesitating, I am on my feet and sprinting out the door.

* * *

The rest of my day progressed similar to the way the meeting with the Dean went. Most of the professors and students looked down their noses at me. I noticed several other students being treated the same way.
