“Oh, this?” Susan laughs throatily, her fingers skimming down her front as she smooths the dress over her belly and hips. She might try to be coy but I can tell she knows exactly what she’s doing. “This is nothing.”

As if dancing to her tune, my dick twitches. It’s pure torture at this point.

“Fuck no. This is everything,” Ed says. “You look fucking amazing.”

Artie, who’s usually always put together and crisp with his words, says, “Fuck, you’re so hot.” Even he seems to be at a loss for words.

“Thanks,” Susan says. “I bought it last year after my book went to auction. It cost a fortune.”

But I won’t hesitate to tear it off her. Something like this was meant to be torn to shreds to expose the soft, pale flesh that lies beneath.

“Well it looks great on you,” Artie says finally.

“You think so?” She does a little twirl, her hands climbing over her ass as she does. Every action is deliberate.

“Oh, fuck,” I mutter under my breath.

Susan smirks at me. “You okay, Ollie?”

I need to be seated for this. “I think I’m feeling a little hot.”

Susan pouts at me. “You okay? I’m so cold. There’s literally a snowstorm going on outside.”

What game is she playing? Is this payback for laughing at her last night? It wasn’t specifically directed at her, more at the situation itself.

She starts walking over to me. “Are you sure you don’t have a fever?”

Before she can reach me, however, Ed blocks her path. I scowl at my brother. I don’t know what point Susan is trying to make, and I honestly don’t care. She looks about ready to give me a fucking lap dance in that sexy babydoll of hers, and I’m here for it.

He grabs her arm. “What do you think you’re doing?”

“What does it look like?” she says, batting her eyes at him. “I don’t go back on my words.” She reaches up and traces a line down his jaw. Ed doesn’t flinch even though I know touch—of any kind—doesn’t come easy to him.

“I want to finish what we started last night,” she says. Her words are so soft that I’m not sure I hear her correctly.

“Jesus,” Artie mutters under his breath.

Ed’s gaze bores into her. Susan refuses to look away. Ed is the first one to break away. “You refused us last night.”

“No,” she says, shaking her head. “I just got a little overwhelmed. I’ve never done this before, and the sight of you three taking off your clothes really did me in. I freaked out.”

Ed remains silent.

“And I’ve been a bad guest, ignoring you guys the entire day and locking myself in. But it’s just because I needed time to think,” Susan continues. She glances at Artie. “And Artie gave me the perspective I needed.”

My gaze skips to Artie, whose eyes are wide in disbelief.

“You changed your mind because of me?”

Susan nods, and even that mundane gesture is so sexy. Or maybe my dick has simply taken over my brain.

“Yes. The truth is that I came up here because I can’t write. I haven’t been able to write for the past couple of months. And I need help…thinking. The words are in my head, but I can’t reach for them.” She shakes her head. “It’s as if I’ve lost touch with myself. I need help.”

“We’ll help you,” I say, stepping forward. Artie does too until we have her surrounded.

She turns to each of us. “Really?”

“Yes,” Artie says. I nod in approval. Ed remains still.
