“That’s really funny. A little creepy, but funny.”

“He doesn’t creep around anymore, so don’t worry.” Artie chuckled. “He taught me a lot though, but I forget what stuff is called.”

“Well, it’s still delicious.”

“Thanks.” Artie stirred the sauce, added a few more spices, and took a cautionary sniff. He nodded as if to say it was good, and then he moved on to the other ingredients. He mixed together the cheese, egg, and more spices, saying, “We can just stick this in the fridge when it’s done. Sauce still needs some time. Ah, shit, I need another pot for the noodles.”

Mac tilted his beer back, pointing at a cabinet opposite the stove. “More pots under there. Just don’t use the silver one. It’s got a dent and it’s wobbly.”

“Got it!”

Mac reached over to steal a taste of the sauce while Artie was getting the pot. “Damn, that’s good. I’m so glad at least one of us can cook.”

“Come on. I’m sure you can cook some.” Artie came over to the sink to fill the pot. He noticed Mac going in for another taste of the sauce, and he playfully swatted at him. “Hey, hey! That’s not ready yet, sir!” He kissed his cheek. “I’ll let you have a taste when it’s ready.”

“What? I’m just trying to learn.”

“Pffft. You could make this. It’s really not that hard.”

“I can burn water. Em will tell you I am not good at cooking. She’s not shy about tearing me down, lemme tell you. Mini Gordon Ramsey in the making.”

“Oof, brutal, huh?” Artie put the pot of water on the stove.

“I think letting her watchHell’s Kitchenmight have been a mistake. She’s very judgmental.”

“Does she scream about lamb sauce and call you a donkey?” Artie chuckled.

“Luckily, I’ve never made lamb, so no need to provide the lamb sauce. I would be lying though if I said she hasn’t called me a donkey.”

“Well, I would love for you to cook for me.”

“I hope you like cereal. French toast if I’m feeling fancy.”

Artie turned to Mac, pushing between his legs with a big grin. “I fuckin’ love French toast, baby, and anything you make would be great.” He licked his lips. “Maybe, uh… Maybe I could stay over and eat breakfast with you sometime.”

“Yeah? Wanna stay over, baby?” Mac hugged Artie’s hips with his legs and smiled sweetly.

“I would love to.” Artie ducked his head shyly.

“You free tomorrow morning?”

“Hell yeah, I’m free. I’m a fuckin’ monster. It’s not like I have a monster job to go to. I ain’t got nothin’ else to do. Trust me that my world is not nearly as exciting as yours.”

“I wouldn’t call mine exciting exactly. Much more so with you around.” Mac pulled him down for a kiss. “It’s a sleepover then.”

“Yeah?” Artie grinned in delight. “Thank you, baby. I can’t wait to wake up and snuggle your fine ass without worryin’ about racin’ back to the closet.”

“You’re a snuggler, huh? Who knew?” Mac teased, sliding his hand down Artie’s chest. “Not gonna lie, I’m really looking forward to morning snuggles with you too.”

“I am very snuggly.” Artie nuzzled Mac’s cheek, and he smiled.

“Oh, I believe it.” Mac beamed, certain that Artie’s smile was gonna make his heart burst right out of his chest. He couldn’t believe this big, beautiful creature was all his. “We have a lot of snuggle time to make up for, you know.”

“I can’t fuckin’ wait. Just me and you and a nice empty house… so we can make plenty of noise.”

“Yes, please. I’ll be loud as hell for you, baby.”

Artie cackled, and he pressed closer, his cock perking up under the apron.
