“You can stay here as long as you need. Or until I run out of those food packs.” Row twitched his nose. “I’m afraid I don’t know much about what men eat.”

“This is great. Thank you.” Romeo petted Row’s tentacle. “Just for a little while until I figure out what the hell I’m gonna do.”

“Of course.” Row withdrew with a smile, sliding back onto the ground.

“Hey! Where are you going?”

“I’m hungry.” Row chuckled. “I need to go hunt.”

“Right. Uh. Fish? Or what?”

“Fish, urchins, snails, mollusks. Whatever I can catch.” Row considered for a moment. “I suppose men eat those things too, but you heat them?Cookthem? Is that the word?”

“Yeah.” Romeo beamed. “You know, I’m actually a pretty decent cook. Too bad there’s no ventilation in here. I’d love to fry up some fish for you.”

“Perhaps another time.” Row chuckled. “I think I would like to try your man food.”

“Yeah? Sounds like a date.”

“A date?”

“Yeah, what humans do when they like someone and wanna get closer to them.”

Row seemed confused, and he pulled Romeo off the beanbag and down into his lap.

“Hey!” Romeo laughed. “What are you doing?”

“Getting close to you.” Row squeezed Romeo’s hips. “Is this correct?”

“It’s definitely a good start.” Romeo rubbed Row’s chest. “Thought you were hungry?”

“I’m hungry for something else now.” Row smirked. “Tell me. Is this a date now?”

“Well, let’s see.” Romeo pretended to think. “We went somewhere exciting. Out in the middle of the ocean is definitely a new one for me. You got me dinner. I do love pasta. And oh, we had some amazing sex. That usually happens after the romance and dinner though. We kinda skipped to the good part.”

“Oh, my mistake.” Row grinned, and his tentacles slid over Romeo’s thighs. “My people don’t do dates.”

“No?”

“No. We simply… skip to the good parts.”

“Sounds like fun.” Romeo slowly grinded his hips forward.

“I liked the dinner and the romance too,” Row said, “but yes, the good parts I’m much better at.”

“I could teach you if you wanted me to.” Romeo’s cock was growing hard. “We could have a little picnic on the beach somewhere, watch a movie…”

“I don’t know what those words mean, but they sound very nice.”

“A picnic is where you bring food outside to eat it.”

Row looked confused. “I’m always outside. I live in the ocean.”

“Well, it’s special for us menfolk.” Romeo chuckled. “We can set out a blanket, eat some good food, and we can watch movies on my phone. A phone is, uh, like a magical device for communication. It can play videos, movies, that are like moving picture things that tell stories.”

“That sounds wonderful,” Row gushed. “I would love to see them with you!”

“We could totally do that! I mean, I’m gonna have to get a new phone because mine was on the boat…” Romeo hesitated. “You don’t have a boyfriend, do you? A girlfriend? I have already had one person try to kill me for adultery today and I’d very much prefer not to do that again.”
