For all of his bravado about making today the start of a new Scott, the old Scott still had a lot of really heavy, bitter feelings to process about his friends being a bunch of fucking assholes.

All Scott wanted to do was pop inLove Actually, crawl into the vodka bottle, and sleep for the rest of the weekend. He didn’t think there was anything more depressing than singing the birthday song to himself with a squished Twinkie, waiting on a cheap frozen dinner for one to cook.

With a heavy sigh, Scott set the vodka down so he could kick off his jeans. If he was going to be miserable, he was going to at least be comfortable. He left on his boxers and Batman T-shirt, but then peeled off his socks to add to his jeans on the floor.

Fuck it. He’d pick them up later.

He brought the vodka with him so he could take a few sips while he picked through the shelf of DVDs underneath the TV. He skimmed over the movie titles, humming to himself, when he heard a strange sound.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

Scott turned his head to carefully scan the room, but he didn’t see anything out of the ordinary.

Weird.

He snorted and took another sip from the bottle before turning back to the shelf of movies. He read over the spines until he saw what he wanted, but as he reached to grab it, he heard the strange sound again.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

Scott’s head snapped back to track the source of the sound, and he found himself staring at the mirror that hung over the back of the couch. It wasn’t as large as the one in his bedroom, and he had covered it with a thin black blanket.

As if the sound wasn’t unsettling enough, the blanket moved.

Scott’s stomach dropped, and his mind frantically searched for an explanation.

The wind? No, he was inside his house.

The AC kicking on? That couldn’t be it either because the vent was on the other side of the room. There was no type of air flow that could possibly create…

A hand.

There was a hand with long fingers reaching through the fabric, stretching toward Scott.

Scott’s mind short-circuited and he froze in place. He didn’t know whether he should throw the bottle, or maybe the DVD, but all he could do was watch in horror as some kind ofcreaturepushed its way out of the mirror.

The blanket fell away, revealing a tall and spindly masculine frame. His legs were way too long for his body, and his skin was a deep gray with purplish spots. He had no nose or eyes or ears, only a giant mouth with dark red lips that drew back into a terrible smile. The way he moved was eerily graceful, his long legs easily stepping over the couch as he slinked out of the mirror.

“No,” Scott whispered. “This is not real. It’s not real. This cannot be happening.”

The not real creature continued to prove he was absolutely real as he now stood before Scott, towering over him with that same terrifying smile on his lips. It was impossible to escape the giant cock hanging between his thighs, soft but stillwow, it was huge—shit!

Scott gulped.

He was totally not checking out the monster’s ample girth and wondering how much of it he could stuff in his mouth.

Nope, not at all.

The not real creature leaned in close and reached out to Scott, growling quietly.

“Nope, nope, nope! Absolutely not!” Scott’s brain finally got into gear, propelling him to scoot along the couch. He had nowhere else to flee with the monster right in front of him, and scrambled back and up into the wall, knocking loose a picture frame. He winced as it hit his shoulder.
