“Ow! Are you okay?” the monster asked, cocking his head to the side. Maybe Scott was just drunk, but the monster seemed concerned. He didn’t advance any closer, but his hand remained outstretched.

Scott laughed nervously. “You’re not real. Right? I mean, you can’t be.”

“I can be Notreal if you’d like me to be.” Notreal smiled. “That sounds like a nice name.”

“Ha. Right. Sure. It’s a great name.”

“Please don’t freak out—”

“Oh! Don’t freak out!” Scott’s laughter bordered on hysterical. “Don’t freak out, says the monster guy who just came out of my mirror!”

“I’m sorry.” Notreal frowned. “I just couldn’t see.”

“See?” Scott’s eyes watered from laughing so hard. “See what?”

“See you!” Notreal nodded at Scott. “I couldn’t see out anymore. I could not watch you. I did not like it.” He waved his hand again as if trying to remind Scott it was there.

As if he could possibly forget.

“You… you…” Scott struggled to process what Notreal was saying. “You’ve been watching me?”

His mind continued to reel as he recalled all too well the many times he’d had his fun in front of the mirror in his bedroom and how he’d always felt that there was someone on the other side. Had it really just been a product of his erotic imagination or was it…

“Like, watchingwatching me?” Scott tried to clarify, hating how his face was flushing.

“There is not much else to watch.” Notreal flashed another awful smile. He dropped his hand, but he didn’t step away. “I was concerned when you covered all the mirrors. You seemed so sad.”

“I…” Scott’s breath caught in his throat, and the earlier wave of emotions returned even stronger than before. He couldn’t help how weirdly touching it was that a strange monster was more worried about him than any of his so-called friends. “I… I was sad. It’s… It’s my birthday today. And no one cared. So, I was… I was all alone.”

“You are not alone, not ever,” Notreal assured him.

Scott didn’t know if that was meant to be comforting or terrifying.

Maybe both.

“I do not like when you are sad,” Notreal went on. “You do not have very good friends.”

“No, they kinda suck.” Scott fidgeted. “What, uh, do you mean that I’m not ever alone?”

“I mean that I am here!” Notreal grinned as he gestured to the mirror. “Well, I was until you covered them up. I wasn’t sure how to tell you I was there. I didn’t want to scare you.”

“The mirrors? You were watching me from the mirrors?” Scott paused. “Like, all of them? Or just this one?”

“All of them!” Notreal replied enthusiastically. “I especially enjoy the one in your kitchen. I like watching you make food.” He flashed his sharp teeth and shifted his weight, making his cock swing between his legs. “I wanted to make a cake for you. I thought perhaps then you wouldn’t be sad.”

Scott’s eyes followed Notreal’s cock like a cat watching a piece of string, and he quickly jerked his gaze back up with a gulp. He should definitely not be checking out the monster’s big cock, and yet here he was. “A c-cake? For me?”

“Yes!” Notreal sat on the couch next to Scott. “That is the tradition, yes? I like when you watch theCake Wars.”

Scott’s pulse fluttered, and he couldn’t stop the anxious laugh that bubbled out of him. He sank down so he was sitting on the couch properly again. “Cake Wars. Wow. You, you like watchingCake Wars? I... I got some cake mix. I was gonna make one earlier, but then… it just felt kinda stupid.”

“It’s not stupid.” Notreal patted Scott’s knee. “I think since your friends kinda suck, we should watchCake Warsand make a cake. Do you have fondant? I know that’s important.”

Scott was again tempted to look at Notreal’s dick and told himself it was only because they were so close now and he couldn’t help it. He cleared his throat, instead focusing now on Notreal’s mouth. “No, no. I just have some icing in one of those little tub things.”

“What are you looking at?” Notreal frowned, tilting his head as if looking down at himself. “Is there something wrong?”

“What? No! Nothing! Just thinking about icing!”
