I don’t often take my women on dates—dinner here and there, yes. A weekend getaway of spa treatments if I’m feeling stressed and know they might enjoy the pampering. But this will be a first with Heidi, and somehow, with her not living in my penthouse, it feels more significant.

I know she was teasing when she asked if it was a date, but the question sits in the back of my mind now, all the same.

The roof access door opens, and my breath catches in my throat as Heidi walks out in a green silk cocktail dress, the likes of which I’ve never seen. The stunning fabric hugs her curves until nearly down to her knees, where it expands into a flowing foot-long train behind her.

And she has on the same classy white trench coat as she did the night she came to my penthouse wearing only that and lingerie. My body responds to the triggered memory, my cock coming to half mast in an instant.

Heidi really is breathtaking, her honey-blonde hair cascading around her oval face and over her shoulders in loose waves. My eyes linger on her figure. Her eyes shine with a mix of surprise and wonder as she takes in the sunset on the city skyline before tracking to our transportation for the evening. It’s a sight that never gets old for me, and I find I’m grateful for the privilege of sharing it with her tonight.

“You look beautiful,” I say, my voice low and filled with heat as I put my lips beside her ear so she can hear me over the helicopter’s whirling blades.

Heidi blushes, a warm, rosy hue spreading across her cheeks. “Thanks. This is... wow.” Her voice trails off as she continues to take in the surroundings.

I offer her my arm, and after a moment, she takes it with a smile.

“Shall we?” I gesture toward the waiting helicopter.

She chuckles nervously, her hand gripping my arm a little tighter. “I can’t believe we’re takingthatto dinner.”

Grinning cheekily, I guide her toward the waiting chopper. “Well, it comes in handy sometimes. Have you ever been in one before?”

She simply shakes her head as I help her inside. As she precedes me, I can’t help but admire the way the dress accentuates her curves. I’ll have to take her to dinner more often, just so I can see her in outfits like this.

The helicopter doors close, and we lift off the rooftop, the city lights disappearing beneath us as we head south, the sunset glowing gold and pink and brilliant orange to our right.

Heidi takes it all in, her hazel eyes wide, as if she doesn’t want to miss a thing. “This is amazing!”

I chuckle, a sense of satisfaction spreading through me at her joy. “I’m glad you like it. I thought it would be a unique way to start our evening. But I have plenty more surprises planned for tonight.”

Heidi nods, her gaze fixed on the cityscape below as we soar down the coast. The cool breeze tousles her hair, and I can’t help but steal glances at her throughout the flight. She was the right person to bring tonight. I want to celebrate my victory over Aleksandr Volkov. Closing on the Bay View Hotel today was a major statement, and tonight, I want to enjoy it by treating myself and the girl who has lifted my mood so effectively.

The helicopter lands smoothly at our destination, Prime, one of my family’s many restaurants that just happens to be attached to a luxury spa. As we disembark, I offer her my hand, and she accepts it with a radiant smile.

The car is already waiting for us at the helipad, ready to transport us to dinner. As we settle inside, Heidi finally seems to find her voice once more.

“Where are we?” Her eyes continue to follow the landscape outside, tracking the coast that gives way to rolling hills and palm trees.

“Caramel.”

The blunt response raises Heidi’s eyebrow, and she sinks back against the seat to study me further. “And why did we fly all the way down to Caramel for dinner?”

I shrug but don’t quite manage to contain my smile. “You’ll see.”

Heidi’s eyebrow creeps higher up her face, but she seems to decide to drop it a moment later as the luxurious spa hotel comes into view.

The restaurant’s ground-floor entrance through a garden at the side of the building is adorned with elegant golden doors. As I offer Heidi my arm once more and escort her up the walk, the doors open to reveal a warm, dimly lit interior. Soft jazz music fills the air, creating an atmosphere of intimacy and sophistication.

“Ah, Mr. Federov,” the host greets us, his sleek black tux as professional as his demeanor.

I can feel Heidi’s eyes on me as if to say,They know you by sight? But they should, considering my family owns this establishment and I frequent it.

We’re led to a private corner table with a view of the ocean. A crystal chandelier hangs above us, casting a gentle glow on the pristine white tablecloth and fine glassware.

The menu is a work of art, one I never grow tired of, as the chef changes it seasonally, and the excitement sparkles in Heidi’s eyes as she peruses the options.

“Evening, ma’am, Mr. Federov,” the server says as he steps up to our table.

Once again, Heidi’s eyes flash up to meet mine before she turns to give a charming hello.
